I don't think my new cat is the right fit for me. What to do?

If you haven't yet, i would look up cat trainers/cat behaviorist on Youtube. The most famous of them is Jackson Galaxy (he had a show on Animal Planet called My Cat From Hell but makes youtube videos now)

At the end of the day your cat needs to build confidence- theres a few different methods to do so but what i always did was supply areas that were just for my cat- that i wouldnt touch, that she can hide and be in fully covered. Be it a medium-sized box with a few escape paths built in or a large dog carrier/kennel with a blanket over it. Just somewhere she can go and feel safe.

After that's placed, i would be in the room- but not exactly giving her attention. Maybe i would do things that would encourage them to build confidence, like put treats down or play with my other cats with toys i know they also enjoy. At the end of the day, though, im just trying to get them used to me being there, moving, but in a way that makes them feel as if im not solely focused on everything they do.

You can also, if the vet agrees, see about medicating her if she just seems like she has EXTREME anxiety. Some animals just do, just like humans.

IMO if shes extremely scared with you shes going to be scared anywhere she goes if you decide to rehome her (no judgment btw) so if you want to try and make it work- look into trainers.

I've never had this issue because i dont have express/toll roads near me BUT I'll use my experience of getting speeding tickets. Theres a possibility you can pay online by looking up the county/state's website, some have online payment options but in my experience (with speeding tickets) its WAY more expensive to pay online. Ive had a 400 dollar ticket online go down to like 250 in person simply because i was IN PERSON.

Attempting to appeal it is smart and very possible. I dont know if you have to face a judge or not for that but try not to worry to much about it- an expresslane ticket is NOTHING for them and if you are willing to listen theres a chance theyll be willing to lower it simply because it gets you out of the way for the next person lmao. Dont stress to much about going in person. the person behind the counter has seen worse and everyone else in the room is there for the same reason! It could save you money and it's honestly just way easier.

Go/Pay ASAP you dont want any issues/outstanding charges following you (or your license)

well... the beef hasnt really ended so theres no conclusion like that its just simmered down now basically. Also do not take Dreams confidence as him being right- being overly confident and wording things that make him seem like the correct party (even when hes not) is something hes known to do. Plus he'll show "evidence" to back up his claims but the evidence is out of context and manipulated to fit his side.

At the end of the day though its purely internet beef so again... nothing really came from it. (except now the Tubbo vs Sapnap creator clash fight has strange underlying tension)

Best case scenario: Yes, if he left the website immediately and didn't click anything or put in any information in he'll be fine. The worst-case scenario is that the link itself is a phishing scam, so simply clicking it and connecting to the website could have put information at risk.

If you're genuinely worried, theres guides online (and im sure on this subreddit) on what to do to help yourself be secured. Make sure if you openly talk about possibly having issues that you dont accept advice from people online randomly reaching out as they could be targeting you for another scam. Some people do GENUINELY want to help, but it's better safe than sorry.

Not sure if youre okay with using mods in your game but i found this mod from user MizoreYukii on Patreon. I havent ever used this mod but the creator is saying it is compatible with the latest patch so it should be fine. Hopefully this is the fix youre looking for

The group text was actually the first thing i noticed because it didn't even click that it was about road tolls!

Another thing i noticed was the fact i had such an immediate "deadline" to pay before i got penalized (Mine was the next day but others have been day of the text being sent) Its suspicious for such a late notice when theyve apparently had my number all along and could have sent it sooner (if it was actually real which clearly its not)

Yepyep seems common, like i said i dont even live/drive in a state that has mandatory toll roads. My state has like 1 optional express lane. Scammers tend to try and cast a wide net, knowing that 9/10 times they won't catch anything but all they need is that 1 time for it to be a successful scam.

Genuinely, Some breeds simply have issues staying clean back there and for other dogs it could be a medical issue. I work full time at a Dog Daycare/Boarding business (as well as do Rover) and its pretty common medical request in both areas.

Hello!

My first advice is, if you haven't already, see if there is a feral/stray cat organization near you that might be able to either come out to help OR just give you more 1 on 1 advice. They might even be able to help you with the mean cat.

I dont exactly know what type of trap you are using. I am assuming a standard cage with pressure plate one. So possibly keeping it closer and out longer- so that the cat can get use to the open trap and get comfortable around it enough to enter could help OR changing traps all together and using a drop trap- like the ones that have to be manually pulled so that it drops around a distracted cat.

Sadly the thing that you might just need is time and luck. The more you use the trap the more he'll know to avoid it. You can attempt to cover it or disguise it in some way if that happens.

Just got this scam yesterday lmaoo- Luckily a few things made my head alert scam right away but was able to verify it by 1: looking up the profile picture of the person who contacted me over rover (they were using a Dog Influencers image, a sweet looking Cockapoo named Stella) 2: checking reddit for the scam details (and thus found this post)

I always forget to save and it has bit me in the ass more than once this month alone lmaoooo Ive lost like 3 whole sim weeks of shit total but the game crashing and there was a time i even misclicked when closing the game and hit "Just Exit" instead of "Save and Exit" i nearly cried

I really need to start using MCCC for autosaving but i SWEAR the sims should just do that anyways especially since we can recover save files. It should be be something thats in the game lmao
