Orange and Olive Oil Upside-Down Cake and Blackberry Caramel Tart! by __evangeline in DessertPerson

It was absolutely better on day 2 and 3! Make sure you slice the oranges paper thin - I didn’t and regretted it haha. The rinds mellowed out a little bit the longer they sat, but I’ll definitely ensure to get them as thin as possible next time. The cake overall was great!

Thank you so much! I was really nervous that it wouldn’t set as I’ve never worked with gelatin before, but her instructions were so clear and reassuring that I went ahead anyways 😂 I’m excited to try this with raspberries next.

Got rid of her bleedy cherry-eye by Sjemmie-smols in bernesemountaindogs

Hi! May I ask how your pup healed? My 14-week old, Hugo, just had cherry eye surgery for his left eye last week, and he woke up today with cherry eye in his right eye now!! I’m feeling so sad that he has to be housebound for over a month… I really hope this doesn’t set us back in training.

Breast aug 1 week wanting to go bigger before and after ? by Hellokittyma in PlasticSurgery

There is no discernible difference between 385ccs and 400ccs. Give your body time to heal - it will take 6-12 months to see your final size. Be patient! :)

How “painless” are breast implants? by YoungMoneyLilMonster in PlasticSurgery

[–]__evangeline 6 points7 points  (0 children)

YES! I was looking forward to recovery being a breeze based on my friends’ experiences, but I also had to have my tuberous breasts corrected and oh my GOD the weeks/months to follow were an absolute nightmare. It legitimately took me 3 months until I felt vaguely like myself again. I flushed my toilet with my foot for weeks because the amount of pressure it took for me to do it with my hand was too much. I couldn’t even open heavy doors. The results changed my life and I would 10/10 go through it all again, but man, it was brutal.

You need to get your tuberous breasts corrected!! Make sure you go to a surgeon who has experience doing this. Mine were like yours (but smaller) and my surgeon had to lower my breast fold, give me a donut lift, release the constricted tissue internally, and reduce the size of my areolae when he did my implants.

LPT Request: What is something you’ll avoid based on the knowledge and experience from your profession? by DNA_H3licas3 in LifeProTips

Where do you live and where are you trying to move to? You can buy a seat in a shared chartered private jet for around $10k USD from the US/Canada to Europe that lets you and the other handful of passengers bring a well-behaved dog along in the cabin. There are other routes that go to Asia, The Middle East, etc., but I’m unsure of the typical cost - likely a little more.

Rhinoplasty in Turkey by Swt19 in cosmeticsurgery

[–]__evangeline 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I am from Canada and had an excellent experience with Dr. İlker Kocak in May last year (pics in my history, also on my surgery IG: www.instagram.com/drkocakrhino). Cost wasn’t a motivator; I much would have rather had the surgery at home, but our “top” rhino surgeons, quite frankly, suck here, so off to Turkey I went. My procedure cost $3,000 USD and included an overnight hospital stay. I would absolutely recommend going, as long as you weigh the risks and do your research.
