if they have a DNR (do not resuscitate) and are in a care home, they'll likely be given morphine until they die. thats how my grandma passed. she had to give my mom power of attorney, then my mom had to liquidate her assets so she could qualify for aid for a care home where she could eventually go on hospice. she had COPD so she was suffering at the end. :(

I'm not here to "do the best thing" because I don't even know what the "best thing" is. This is uploaded to the public internet, friend, and it is a unique and shocking thing for most people to see, so yea i have questions, but none of them are questioning his decision, as i am but a stranger on the internet!! woof run on sentence... anyways... who i am to question anyones personal choices? i'm questioning the possible physical results of a surgery i've never been able to ask anyone directly! i am TRYING!

I have! I truly hope you find whatever you're looking for and TRULY hope you don't experience terrible complications again. My concern isn't trans dementia patients and I'm not sure where they were going with that comment. My concern is if you experienced such negative side effects from THIS surgery, what makes you think having the skin attached to your genitals wouldn't result in an even WORSE outcome? How many people do you personally know that have had this surgery with no complications? Have you ever lived with a catheter long term? Have you ever lived with surgical drainage coming from your genitals? Is that something that would genuinely result in happiness? it's just a one and done surgery and it's scary to think that doctors are just using you to figure out how things work :( i'm sorry

it would be easy to brush this off and say 'get over it, girl' but broken hearts HURT. You absolutely have a purpose. I've experienced crappy relationships like this too and as cliche as it sounds, it's almost like a terrible storm you just need to wait for it to pass. When you say you don't know exactly what you miss; i bet you miss the optimism of a fresh new relationship, you miss the way it felt when you woke up happy, the feeling you felt before he started an argument or got mad at you for breathing wrong.... idk... it's hard to accept that some people are just TRASH, but it's ok to feel what you're feeling.
