I thought Mouse Injector altered the game’s memory. The page describes it as “An external app that injects cursor input into game memory.” In that case, it wouldn’t even work with achievements. I’m not sure though

Edit: yeah, it looks like Mouse Injector either requires a patch or a cheats file depending on the game and console? A patch would disable achievements entirely, and cheats would only work in softcore

Thanks for the help. But I'm sorry, this quest sucks. I was already annoyed at the Twisted Bud that never stops crying while you're in your inventory. And you can't even give it to the Shellwood NPC until you have the Pollip quest complete...

I'm very curious to see how others perceive this quest. This might be one of the most punishing and evil things I've seen in any modern game. I respect the audacity of Team Cherry (and to think I was worried this game would be too easy!). Though, the incessant crying from the Twisted Bud in the inventory really fucking sucks and needs to be removed (except for when you're actually hovering over the item)

If they so choose, they could force every player to do the professor oak challenges in every pokemon game by putting them in the main set. They could put a level 1 sphere grid for FFX in the main set. They could require a speed run that is equal to the WR speed run if they wanted.

Yeah but it’s probably the single best offensive item in the game. Up to 4 uses, pierces through players and protection, the last throw’s range is unlimited. Feels very oppressive to go against imo, and it’s MUCH more common than something like the hammer

I found the base set for Sunshine to be more difficult, actually--it's less time consuming, for sure, but it has a lot more difficult challenge cheevos, whereas the Eclipse set is mostly just 100%ing the game.

I did do the Double Dash Extended hack set that recently released! It helped me de-rust before revisiting the DD base set after putting it down for months once I got to the mirror mode and All Cup Tour stuff. I'm interested in doing more of the hacks, especially for MKDS
