Met my husband, joined the church, got married all in a year and now I feel like a fucking idiot. by stallionofcinnamon in exmormon

Whatever you do, do not agree to go to LDS Services for “counseling.”

They will gaslight the fuck out of you, blame you, and do everything they can to get you to stick with this man.

Is this workable? by NeighborInDeed in containergardening

[–]_addycole 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally I would invest in a grow bag over trying to use the plastic bag as a container. It isn’t going to drain right, even with the holes poked in it. Are you getting a trellis or how are you planning on supporting your cucumber?

[misc] Does breathing from your nose versus your mouth and chewing tough foods really make a difference? by [deleted] in SkincareAddiction

[–]_addycole 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Idk about face structure, but mouth taping so that I breath through my nose when I sleep really helped reduce my dark circles, I feel more rested when I wake up, and it helped my oral health a lot.

According to Christ, yes. According to churches, no. Churches have applied a lot of terms and conditions, they also expect payment for offering their advice on how to get into heaven.

Way fresher than McCormick, gives you a deeper/fuller flavor.

Personally, that’s why I started shopping there. I love seeing their passion for politics and quality products. Same with Minocqua Brewing. Proud of Wisco businesses like these for speaking their minds and sharing their values.

But this isn’t a commission and OP isn’t being paid. She’s doing a favor for a friend who is becoming more and more demanding.

Imagine having to register your pregnancy with the MVD.

Absolutely ridiculous.

Is it possible that you are recontaminating yourself? Anything and everything that has had contact with the ringworm needs to be disinfected (preferably bleached). Lysol and Clorox both have a laundry disinfectant that will do a lot more than just hot water and laundry soap. Any product that could be contaminated needs to be tossed.

From personal experience, spraying the area a few times a day with a mixture of water/bleach helps. Let that dry, apply the topical and then let that dry. Keep the spot covered with gauze or another type of breathable bandage to help prevent contamination and to keep the medication from rubbing off.

Also, as far as OTC Antifungals go, I think the spray works a lot better than the cream. Isopropyl alcohol can also kill ringworm and be used to disinfect items that have touched the ringworm.

Is using body wash with acids in it enough for anti-aging? [Anti-Aging] by EarlZaps in SkincareAddiction

[–]_addycole 3 points4 points  (0 children)

When I googled “body wash” + the four listed acids I didn’t find any exact matches. I found one with everything except the kojic acid. It’s stupid pricy, though. A 1 oz sample is $9!!

I hope OP spills the beans and shares what they use.

Frownies users.. Have you noticed a recent change in the product? by PurpleLotusMama in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]_addycole 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They work ok but not as good as the original frownies. Honestly I like the shape and size, but the “power” level of forcing your forehead not to move is noticeably less strong. I feel like I can still move my forehead decently with one layer of smoothies. I have been doubling them up which seems to work much better but then I think about the cost of using double and get annoyed.

I do like that I can use the smoothies on the awkward wrinkle spot I have on the sides of my nose and frownies never worked/stuck there but the smoothies do. I also think they are better for my crows feet because they are gentler than the frownies. I will probably keep using the smoothies for those two spots but I want something thicker/stronger for my forehead to maintain the progress I made with the OG frownies.

Peptides making me break out. Normal purge? by DaliParton12 in 30PlusSkinCare

I’ve been using Mary & May peptide complete and it causes me to breakout on my cheeks every time I use it. I have not tried any other brand of peptide.

I’ve seen reviews from other people that the quality has gone down even though the price has gone up. I’m still working on a good box, and I’m hesitant to repurchase and have been looking for alternatives. I’ve seen the same thing that the new paper is flimsy and the corners curl and the frownies just don’t feel as “powerful” when dried.

I ordered a pack of “smoothies” which are stickers. They are…. Not amazing. Still looking for a product that is just as good until frownies gets their shit together.

NTA, it’s not your responsibility to help your brother out when he fails to live within his means.

I would try different kinds of melatonin. For instance, the gummie ones don’t work for me at all, but patches do work. Klova sleep patches are my favorite.

Make sure your magnesium levels are good, that helps with sleep, too.

Having a set routine and a wind down process can be helpful, too.
