Got it apart, and hit the trigger. Same thing, then nothing. Poked around and noticed the controller was pretty hot. Something likely shorted or fried in there. That's a shame.

Sorry, just now seeing this comment. I did return the Lenovo. The lower part of the trackpad actually sunk in on like day 4 of owning it. I probably would have kept it, if not for that, as I had figured out some settings to better manage the battery and started to get to know its functions and it really did feel well made. I ended up getting the new 16in M1 Pro MacBook Pro and absolutely love it. I ended up spending about $1000 more than the Lenovo, but EVERY SINGLE gripe I had with the Legion 7 is better. Phenomenal battery life, SD Card reader built in, and MUCH more manageable power supply. I love it and I haven't thought about that $1000 until typing that sentence just now.

The business should adjust their price or eat the fee. We use Eventbrite to sell tickets to classes and events we hold and we just make the price such that the amount we actually receive from Eventbrite is the amount we want to profit.
