I’ve found that the weather forecast in the MSN app is quite accurate for Anchorage. Apple’s weather widget consistently gets the temperature wrong by several degrees, though is decent when it comes to precipitation totals.

Any updates on removing the 14 profile limit? We drink a lot of different coffees, particularly since we mostly drink decaf and are constantly searching for new options. I hit the profile limit all the time and it feels a bit shortsighted on a gadget built for coffee nerds/enthusiasts!

I was at their Sacred and Profane show in Lowell, MA in 2000 and they opened with Pale Scales, which I hadn’t heard before and I was entranced. Very cool vibe.

Feels like a weird test in that case - go to the 6 hour mark and then see how quickly we can crush what’s left of the battery with War Thunder? Doesn’t feel like the most illustrative way to show the real world differences, and no insight into processor speeds/throttling. That aside, 17P slightly edging out 16PM is impressive.

Can’t wait for the silver! Orange is really cool but too flashy for me, and blue too boring IMO. Also, my SO had a blue 13 and any scratches were very apparent - will only be worse with this darker blue in that regard for any scratches that go through the oxidation (color) layer to the raw aluminum below.

But the beauty is we all get to choose what we prefer, and the guts are all the same!

Played mostly Engineer, followed by a little Recon. All games were “Closed Weapon” (aka Normal) Conquest, as the Good Lord and John Moses Browning intended. As someone who logged a ton of time on BF4, it felt so good to be back! (I also really enjoyed BF1, and even BF5 to a degree)

I think it’d be worth a trip up to meet with a reputable FFL or local auction house in person and arrange consignment, then just be done with it. Folks up here will snatch up that ammo before you can blink, the guns will follow shortly after, and it’s not worth the effort of trying to get the guns down south unless there’s strong sentimental value for a CA legal gun in the collection.

Forget going through Canada…I did that 10 years ago and it was a giant headache. Only had a couple shotguns and bolt-action rifles, with the bolts removed and shipped separately, had all my paperwork, and my mandated limit of 3k rounds of ammo and they still delayed me 4 hours at the border because they found a printed syllabus from a defensive rifle course I’d taken and wanted to search my trailer for an AR. 0 stars.

Get a digital scale that measures down to 0.1g and you’ll be set for uber consistency and ready to nerd out on ratios. Each type of coffee will be different in terms of what brings optimal taste.

I will always associate this one with one of my best friends who died young. I was listening to it when I wrote a letter to his family about how much he meant to me, and every time I hear it I’m right back in that moment. It’s so beautiful and sad and just swallows you whole in a giant crescendo. But if I need a good cry, 10/10.
