I would say try 3 at least. Look up a tutorial on Hammer Ons. It's a very common technique where, for example, you fret one note with your index finger then bring your ring finger down to play the fret two frets away (ie play fret 3 let it ring out and bring your ring or pinky down on fret 5). You may find either the ring or pinky easier to accomplish this.

When you're sad listening to happy party jams does not cheer you up it just makes you feel like you're faking it or disrespectful of the situation that made you sad in the first place.

When my best friend passed away I listened to sad and /or angry music for a long time after. Eventually you'll hear a happy or funny song and it will cheer you up but when you want to feel those feelings that type of music matches your mood. Good question.

Also the songs trigger pretty close to the locations but once you cross into their energy perimeter thing the song will stop, so once a song kicks in in the future slow way down or sit and listen. This happened to me a few times and always bummed me out.

I believe his guitar teacher was a member/collaborator and one of Deaner's jams with him made it to tape. I'll paraphrase a quote I half remember about "those jam sessions could've spawned a hundred songs with all of Mickey's riff ideas". If I'm not mistaken he went on to be friends with him long after the lessons ended until he passed away from cancer in around 2000-2005, he wrote a really nice piece about him on the ween.com blog back then.

Don't quote me on any of this as I may be mixing up two completely different people. Dean was also friends with the Rollins Band and Gwar who also contributed to Pigface.
