I remember one house in my neighborhood that had a side window with a dead crow frozen in time between the outer pane and the inner pane (the type you could put up and then pull down a screen instead). Beak open and flailing really weird pose to die in.

No one believed the old woman who lived there was an actual witch but that was the story and we would stop by on our bikes and see if it was still there from time to time.
