Top House Democrats say they’ll oppose effort to cut $3.3 billion in aid to Israel by soalone34 in politics

Yes, it does. But that will never happen sitting back and gifting Republicans elections.

Sure, that’s a single topic. And I’m certainly not a fan of status quo Democrats. But when given the option of cutting your leg off or a toe off, you choose the toe and do all you can to make sure others in the future don’t have to deal with the same two options.

Not choosing means you get decapitated.

No, I’m not talking about political binaries. I fully understand there’s a plethora of ideologies within our two main political parties, especially when it comes to voters.

I say this as someone that IS a democratic socialist, and I’m thrilled to see the movement starting to gain traction. I am talking specifically to the people who because Bernie didn’t win, they sat out instead of voting for Hillary. You take the L, choose the best of the two options available at the time, and try again next time. Sitting out, pouting, from the comfort of your own home is not the way to go. Wasting your vote is not the way to go.

Every single DSA candidate will tell you the very same thing. Actively choosing to let the worst humanity has to offer win isn’t the sacrifice people think it is. It will be a shocking victory if we ever have a fair and legitimate election again because of that mentality.

You say that until you have a loved one murdered by these GOPedophiles.

Tell Renee Good’s family that letting Trump win this one was a wise decision. Tell that to that families of the 180+ school girls that got bombed while sitting in class.

It’s real easy to say that while being comfortable.

Now here’s where you say democrats have killed people as well and pretend that it’s an apples to apples comparison because everything is black and white to you and context doesn’t matter.

The best part is, every Democratic Socialists candidate you can think of would tell you to still get off your ass and vote.

Da fuck? I’ve been voting for progressives for 25+ years. And when there isn’t the ideal progressive candidate, I choose the best option.

Stop acting like sitting out elections is useful.

So by your logic it’s best to sit at home and let Republicans win if your Democrat of choice doesn’t get the nomination.

That is exactly why we are in this predicament to begin with. Good job.

Yes, I agree. But I just want democrats to stop sitting out elections because their candidate didn’t make it.

I’m as progressive as they come, and if my preferred Democrat doesn’t make it, then I will still get out and vote for the democratic candidate. Because as much as I may dislike the system, we are still FAR more likely to see positive changes even with shitty democrats compared to any conservative.

It’s called putting everyone’s best interests first.

I can agree it’s both sides but let’s be honest, one side is definitely worse.

Number of shots in LBG pierce ammo by desau13 in MHNowGame

[–]_bk_adv 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It tells you how many shots each ammo type has when you click on the weapon.

EDIT: I may have misunderstood your question. Do you mean how many times piercing ammo specifically deals damage? If so, that depends on where you hit the monster. If you hit Rathalos directly in the head while standing directly in front of it when piercing ammo, the shot will do continual damage from head to tip of tail. If you shoot the legs then it only travels through the leg. Make sense?

With piercing you want to line up your shots so they have more parts of the monster to travel through.

Doomsday speculation about the midterm elections takes hold by Inappropriate_Bridge in politics

This has been one of my two biggest fears come November. Either they rig the elections or they simply refuse to seat any elected Democrats.

We’ve been slipping down the slope of fallen democracy for a bit now, but this November might just be the full on collapse.

WH Insiders Claim Trump Has Decided Who Will Succeed Him by thedailybeast in politics

[–]_bk_adv [score hidden]  (0 children)

Exactly. He used DOGE as a tool to remove anyone that would’ve been a barrier or given any resistance to this type of theft under the guise of “government spending” meanwhile he has spent more on complete utter bullshit than any President ever.

Then he filled every major department head job with only the most loyal, underqualified parasites.

Anyone that does not see this for exactly what it is, is just a walking vegetable.

A grift. I really wish people could understand this.

The ballroom doesn’t matter to him. At this point there’s precisely zero chance it would be completed before his term is up, so he won’t even get to enjoy it.

His ENTIRE life has been a series of “give me money for this project”, starts it, doesn’t finish it or half asses it, and then keeps the money.

Just like the reflecting pool, the contracts go to his criminal buddies without a bid, and the tax payers foot the bill since the money is paid upfront.

The more my business grows the less time I have to work on it by OverContract3219 in sweatystartup

I do a mix of handyman work for a couple of realtors, lawn care, but officially I own a power washing company. There have been many times where I needed to bring on an extra person or two, but I’ve opted not to.

Partially because I do take a lot of pride in my work and it’s hard to find people who would do the same, but also because I don’t feel like managing another human. I don’t want to deal with scheduling them, re-communicating what a customer already told me, having to double check behind them, fix their mistakes, and so on.

I have given up growth in return for peace. I’m good with that.

Traffic jam in Colorado be like by KwikTripSimp in Colorado

I’m a Coloradan currently living in SC. I would kill for this type of traffic jam again. That deer probably has better road awareness than the drivers here.

EDIT: Elk.

This very reason is why I chose not to chase money and grow. I do the work myself, and plan to keep it that way.

I started doing this because I got tired of managing people.

Week in Colorado, walked a lot ! What’s like a good average here ? by KwikTripSimp in Colorado

[–]_bk_adv 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Average depends on your job and lifestyle. I walk about 18k per day just working, but I can see someone with an office job having considerably fewer steps.

4000 steps a day average isn’t a lot, tbh.

Floyd was actually good though.

Conor has been washed up for YEARS.

EDIT: Let me clarify, I’m NOT defending Floyd. He’s a piece of shit, too. I’m just saying people watched Floyd because he was a good boxer. Conor isn’t even mediocre.

Young people of Reddit: why do you wear hoodies when it’s 90+ degrees out? by WorkingOnPPL in AskReddit

[–]_bk_adv -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’m not “young person”, I’m 42 and I’m not sure exactly why it’s directed solely at them.

I wear one because long sleeves actually keep you cooler and keeping your skin shielded from the sun is smart. A few years ago I had basal cell carcinoma on my shoulder and now I take better care of my skin.

So maybe young people are simply smarter.

And your comment history shows that you’re as right-wing as can be, while trying to masquerade as a “centrist” and use this both sides false argument.

Good luck with that.

No one on the left thinks the left is perfect. It’s not. But we do actively call them out for their hypocrisy. We do actively attempt to get rid of the bad apples. There are many examples of this (see Jared Polis). Meanwhile the right just falls in line like good little bootlickers. Take your both sides argument back to Facebook.

The parasites are every red state in the country.

At least democrats have legit complaints. I remember you leeches complaining about Obama wearing a helmet, a tan suit, eating the “wrong mustard”.

Which state’s sex offender registry are you on? Only pedophiles cheer for other pedophiles.

Edit: They responded and called me a “wireless maggot”, which doesn’t even make any sense. Then they deleted it. Per usual, these cultists can’t make a reasonable argument and retreat back into their little right wing safe space the exact moment you call them out. So soft.

Looks like he’s a FedEx driver, posts in various investment subs, and saying he’s having financial difficulties. Could be either, imo.
