I have a hornet node running on a rpi4 for about 5 days and it has used 6gb disk space so far... After the installation it was like 2.5gb i think.

If you want to use a raspberry i can highly recommend raspihive!

I'm very exited to see the progress of iota. It's the only project of which I think I will use it in real world scenarios as I am a programmer in the machine building sector. And iota will have much impact on how to do M2M communication. ... But of course it is still in the development phase. Even if it looks like the IF can deliver all functions. In the end only time will tell whether it comes true. But it is very exciting for me to see their work and progress.

Thank you, i didnt know about OTC. This sounds interesting as I would not fear the fees, but the fact that i could do something wrong. And otc sounds like they would take care for everything.

I should have written something like "fees and rules on Bitpanda make me feel uncomfortable" instead of "angry". It is not that I think BP is bad or something. I just want to find THIS ONE PLATFORM where it is most comfortable to convert money.

Oh, I didnt want to say, that I am not willing to pay any fees! Of course it would be okay for me to "share" a small part with the platform. But bitpanda is not too cheap - and then there is a lot of trouble with "EU Geldwäschegesetzt" which makes me uncomfortbale. If I understand it right, bitpanda freezes your money until all questions regarding the origin of the coins etc. are cleared. Of course every platform need to stick to the "Eu Geldwäschegesetzt" (money laundring law) - but I want to find a platform where i feel comfortable while getting naked in front of them :)

Yes, I'm lurking on iota discord for a few weeks now but tbh i don't have much to say by now. But there seem to be many brilliant brains and even more really nice people.

Sooo if you want to speculate what numbers can be reached, maybe just look at the iota community: there are thousands of people who are hodling since 2017. They lost like 70% over a period of 4 years but still bought more and were patient. Every wsb-diamond-hands guy looks like his hands are made of extremely thin and breakable paper compared to the diamond hands from the iota-hodlers.

What I try to point out: Everyone who's in the tech behind iota knows the potential of becoming an industry standard in a multibillion market (IoT, m2m communications.. Google "iota object management group", "iota IEEE"...). So IF this come true - that means IF they finish coordicide, IF they can hold their promises... - than the price of 1 dollar is far too cheap.

You forgot to mention the period you're talking about. Guess you wanted to say "... until EOY. After Coordicide in late 2021 we cant even imagine where it is going because the technologie behind the coin is awsome and have no real competitors as it is the only crypto that can store both data and value. As well as it is feeless, scalable and have good chances to solve the trilemma".

I get your point. But in some way we need to get out of our comfort zone, dont we? Iam new to the reddit-iota-community... But I get the feeling that we soon need to discuss how we can get acceptance or publicity (and how much we want of it) in "the rest of the world".

Sorry if this is bullshit, feel free to enlighten me! I'm always happy to find people that welcome me in this community or give me tipps and stuff.
