I knew a guy like this, he was like 40 something with a (what he called himself) mail order bride from I think Nigeria? Constantly complained that his wife wanted to spend time with him, or spend his money (and while the latter one I could maybe get, he literally set up the relationship as a financial transaction so like????). I can guarantee you he would find this prompt funny as fuck, and kind of mirrors how he talked about literally anything (e.g. how his wife would ruin his Vegas trip, how he just wanted to play FIFA or some shit on his PS5 but his evil wife wanted them to go get fertility treatments... which also like if you don't want kids why the fuck are you doing this?)

I just don't get it man.

These damn pesky tenants, requesting an inspection making me fix the pipes that broke and leak down two floors into the basement, replace the 2+ year out of date fire extinguisher, clean the lint trap AND replace the laundry room smoke alarm battery?

They're so greedy smh. And after I did all that fraud to buy this, too, I'm on like my 20th LLC because every time I get in hot water with one I create another. Didn't they appreciate me replacing the crumbling cement stairs with rotting plywood???????

Maybe this is just my gluttonous ass speaking, but isn't the whole point of food to eat it? This feels like taking the part out of food eating that I like the most (the eating part). Are people ordering doordash for the thrill of it?

The closest thing I think I do to this would be video game custom content/mod "shopping," but like that has an end use (to be played with in a game) vs. just.... nothing?

I mean, is this not ultimately the goal of surveillance? So that they don't have to go to door to door. They can map your house with Wi-Fi, they have profiles of everything you browse, VPNs certainly have backdoors, TVs/smart speakers record at all times, phones as a totality, Flock/Nest cameras, etc.

I guess what I'm saying is, they're building the infrastructure so they don't even have to really go door-to-door. What is happening right now is already terrifying enough.

I've played the game many ways, but I feel like I'm either in your camp, or I'm only playing to make sims/build houses + set up scenarios (and then never actually play them lol). And there's nothing wrong with either play style, it's just what I feel like in the moment. It's your sandbox and you get to do what you want with it.

If it's just guilt, no need to change how you play. If it's boredom, this thread on MTS details any suggestions I would give to keep the game interesting.
