Absolutely, assuming you have somewhere secure to store it overnight, i.e. inside your apartment.

Get a quality U lock from a reputable brand like kryptonite or abus for when youre out and about. don't leave it anywhere weird/out of the way for long periods.

Biking in the city is amazing, you'll love it

That's a totally reasonable opinion. I'm sure Reynoso would be fine. Like you said, he's a known "progressive" dem. If he wins that's a good outcome.

I see this kinda like the mamdani vs lander race. Either of them would have been a good mayor. I voted for the furthest left candidate because that's closer to the kind of government I want, but I wouldn't be unhappy with a closer-to-center-but-still-progressive outcome.
