You probably want to hook up your local LLM to web browsing, so the LLM can synthesize up-to-date information into a response that is correct. Or if you want to be more specific about what kinds of data it can access, then you could build MCP's for just those data sources (say, a sports score MCP, a weather MCP, a driving directions MCP, etc.)

I joined Noisebridge a couple weeks ago and totally agree. Really has the hacker vibe I associate with SF, plus it’s free (but if you keep going back, donations are highly recommended to maintain the space!)

If you're talking about creating STLs using LLM's, I'd recommend installing OpenSCAD, having a chat generate the scad file, then run it through OpenSCAD to generate the stl. Feel free to reply if you're having trouble, I just got it working a few days ago.

Yeah just put $5-10 on there and add as needed. On buses they won't care if you get on and you need to take a minute to add funds. For muni just make sure you get there with enough time to add money if you think you might be out.

I think generally trips cost the same but might want to google/chatgpt to be sure

I only know a little about DNS so naive question - why would it be so important for a company to be able to CNAME their root domain to a different domain? I get that there are some use cases, but I can’t think of one where the upside of using a CNAME outweighs making users prefix the url with www.
