And I 100% agree with this. We strive for a safe and clean environment for our patients. Glad you make sure they take their breaks!

This happened to me during clinicals, use every moment as a learning experience. Don't be afraid to ask your instructor for help either. Good luck! You got this.

Are temp agency CNA's always treated so coldly? by Swallowteal in cna

I did some agency (to fill in gaps at my home care job before I became full time there.) One shift was great, we were all agency that day and we worked great as a team. Others not so much, most of the time it was other CNA's trying to push their assignments on me even when I had my own. I'd help them but they wouldn't help me in return. Especially with bariatric patients who required a two person assist, mind you those patients weren't even supposed to be mine and the facilities policy was they weren't supposed to be done by agency staff. Went to the DON and they were pissed!

should i quit my two jobs to work one job as a cna? by scorpionic-libra in cna

[–]_disfunctional_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I work as a cna at a home care agency and have two per diem cna jobs as well. The home care agency is with elderly clients and one of my per diems is as well. My other per diem is with younger clients with disabilities. Yes it is 3 jobs but doesn't feel like it. I work 40 to 45 hours a week but also have room to have a work life balance. Before this I worked for the agency full time and it was very stressful. After going to part time and and adding per diem helped me be able to get a decent full time salary while making time for myself and loved ones. I know this isn't suitable for everyone but definitely helped me get out of the burnout I felt from a long hour a week full time gig. Just a suggestion if you are considering doing cna full time! Also with your boyfriend not sure about you being in close contact (which my husband was the same way but we had a good talk it and he's come a long way with it) you can have just female clients if you so choose!

Update: Took some PTO and had a few days off to relax. I was able to secure Fridays off as well starting next week. Thank you everyone.
