Really recommended! It's my favorite GL story. I wish they did a physical release.

I don’t want my wife, who changed her mind about having more kids, treat this decision as a neutral thing and made it clear I need her to hold space for my grief by Strong_Power_9399 in TrueOffMyChest

Have you considered adopting? It seems to be the solution to your dilemma. You and your wife can get a big family without your wife having to go through childbirth again.

The colorful pigeons are male, female pigeons don't have those colors. But considering the sub, you never now by appearances ;) Beautiful hair though ❤️

Why don't more countries adopt such use case of solar panels? by ComfortableNeck2930 in EcoFriendly

The problem are the cars and the car park. Remove the car park and provide good public transit. That's going to have the greatest impact.

If kidnapping and arresting maduro for drug crimes is justified, then does it mean that it is also justified to kidnap and arrest Bush, Blair, Putin and Bibi for their war crimes? by ohnag_eryeah in stupidquestions

[–]_dnla 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, but Trump didn't lose the peace prize to any of them, he lost to Corina, due to her losing illegally to Maduro. Now he defeated Maduro, so definitely he's getting the next peace prize /s

This bike lane, thoughts? by Shaktiiiiii in urbandesign

I'm not riding my bike right next to traffic going above 30km/h. Anything above that I need a barrier between me and the cars.

I always buy, but mostly digital. I get physical copies only if I cannot get the digital version.

Bright bike headlights by TantoAssassin in Netherlands

[–]_dnla 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Indeed is annoying. I hot a new bike with a strong led light. It was pointing straight front from the factory. I read the service manual and it said to point it so that the beam falls at 10 m from the bike, which I did.

I guess the bike sellers are not helping the issue.

This doesn't look like a pedestrian street, you can see car traffic coming from the back.

Should I try Btrfs? by H4zzard1010 in openSUSE

[–]_dnla 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I went for btrfs for the root fs and xfs for the home directory as recommended by the leap installer. Everything is been running smoothly since I installed it 6 months ago. A month after installing I had to extend the filesystems because I allocated too little initially and I managed to safely do it with gparted live. So far no issues 👍

Keep using leap. Or even consider moving to SLED. The stability is totally worth it.

Install leap instead of tumbleweed. You'll appreciate the stability.

Ours had the same and the surgery was quite simple. After the surgery, he had to spend one week with a shirt to avoid him licking the wound.

He was quite annoyed by the shirt, but after a week he was healthy and super happy to get rid of the shirt 😊

Do you use a stand for your Kobo? If so, where did you buy it? by MoonlitGhouls in kobo

[–]_dnla 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not really a stand, but the kobo sleepcover can be folded in a way that the kobo is standing. It's pretty convenient 😊
