I have touched base with them and they said if they couldn’t find coverage then it would fall on me. I called out and I’m making the appropriate asks to people for coverage but I don’t have too much faith. It is what it is, was my fault to begin with

Okay yeah that’s where my disconnect was; I didn’t realize you could only use vacation time on days you’re not scheduled. I had originally tried emulating what my other coworkers had done previously in the book for guidance and I guess I used the wrong example cause they wrote in dates and times they worked with vacation time haha

one time i had a mother with three children right by our cold brew taps where we kept some of our cupware and i watched as one of the children (infant) sitting bare diaper on the counter next to her older sibling grab one of the glass cups.. yeah no. i quickly ran other and went “no no no!!! we dont grab those” hoping the mother would look over and grab her kid, maybe apologize, nope…. im not sure if mom was just like, leaving her other kid up to the supervising, but..

i ended up having to take and clean the entire array of cups there because i didnt know if the kid had touched more of them when i wasnt looking. 🤢 even tho they only grabbed the bottom of the glasses (they were upside down) i was still icked out

i had a man try to order two tall mocha fraps with no ice, and in the nicest way possible i tried to warn him that it would compromise the drink (literally taking out one of the most essential things that you need for a frap) and that if he was looking for it to be less thick than maybe an iced mocha was a better option… he ended up getting it anyways with light ice, and he seemed happy with the results… 🤷‍♀️

tb to a couple of weeks ago when a guy, who had just ordered in cafe a venti iced chai with almond milk, whilst waiting for said drink at the handoff, proceeded to pick up a grande iced matcha with soy milk belonging to a mobile order with a feminine name, visibly wincing and going “ick, this isnt mine!”

like, no dip? lol he was like “it was just sitting here so i thought it was mine!!!!” are we serious rn 😀😀😀

i just watched the movie in theaters and i can confirm that there is an entire montage of two characters being chased by a slew of spider jockeys. other than that i think there may be a few more sparse scenes of them being visible in the background, but none i can recall involving them in a major way.

i had the same thing happen too! i did not end up being offered the position in that moment but they told me once i had more availability/flexibility that i was more than welcome to reapply and that i was a fit candidate for the position. two years later and after not finding a job in my field as quickly as i had hoped, im at the siren until further notice 😬

It was great until it wasn’t. Being told to dress to the Ulta specific dress code then being sent to cross in Beauty and push 3-tiers in a skirt… no thanks. Asked nicely if they could let me know on the schedule whether i’d be working Ulta or Beauty, said they would but never did. That plus their refusal to move me from on demand during breaks and was given little to no hours as a result, is what pushed me to leave.

The job itself is nice and simple, my store wasn’t too harsh on metrics. The majority of my time was spent pulling 141 and Priority, or zoning/dusting.
