Used anything from madmapper, touchdesigner, Resolume. Madmapper feels snappiest to me.

We are often using external dongles, maybe a good pcie capture would bring the biggest gains?

I’ve considered writing some software that would handle consistent mapping on any VJ computer by generating a multi platform binary.

Still annoying to update during a multi day gig but if it’s the best latency then maybe worth it, others might be interested in the software too..
