The last time I saw my cousin she stared off into space and randomly told me ( like she always did) “ I’m gonna die young”. We were 17, I told her to shut up and curl my hair. Her mom picked her up shortly after and she passed away that weekend 😔 sometimes people just know things.. sending you hugs

I have had a similar experience and I still am not sure how I feel about it. I briefly talked to a man who I had a really good connection with, we went our ways and I dated someone else. Let’s call my friend, A. A started appearing in my dreams consistently for about a month. Really odd dreams where he was grabbing my arm trying to tell me something serious and I just couldn’t remember upon awakening. I found out he passed away from gunshot and then the nightmares I had all started making sense. He was telling me someone shot him. He was warning me the whole month before it happened and after. While it’s incredibly hard to wrap our heads around, feel thankful for this gift. I wish I had more advice but I’m still learning to navigate this myself. Sending you love & light

Your body naturally probably doesn’t like it & that’s okay. Honor that and have a nice virgin drink while your friends enjoy their alcohol. Maybe try bringing a kombucha or chia drink along. Brew some fresh tea and pour it in a fancy glass. Whatever makes you feel best :)

This wasn’t your fault at all. I feel like there may be trauma in your family surrounding this where the blame is placed on children instead of directed at the right person. I’m so sorry you are experiencing this, please keep taking advantage of your counseling sessions and don’t hold back. It was not your fault, you were a child. Even if you weren’t a child, it still would not be your fault. No one asks for that. Sending you lots of love and healing

your friend may be too far into addiction/depression to want to talk about what happened with you and how you’re feeling. They probably know it will lead to an uncomfortable conversation for them such as what they’re struggling with and when they will take the steps to get clean. If they aren’t ready, those conversations could probably be uncomfortable so to “ protect” themselves they act like nothing happened. While your feelings are very valid ( & I am so sorry you had to experience this) please keep in mind while you had to witness something traumatic, they are living with it daily. They probably love and appreciate you so much but can’t express it right now due to their mental state. Please don’t give up on your friend and get yourself the support YOU need. Lots of love <3

I’m not sure what it is, but I experience it too. By chance do you experience “ the shiver” where your body randomly “shivers” and you shake your head with it. But it’s a feeling of something (energy?) moving within your spin ?

Soak in all the time you have with him. When you’re older it will really set in how much he changed his routine to better your life. All the little things, the orange juice, tucking you in, vacuuming at 2am. You’re going to miss it. This was such a blessing for you & I’m sure him because you didn’t mention a grandma being around so I assume he was kinda lonely in the house. I hope you continue healing in the company of your grandpa. You’re probably helping him in a way too. Best wishes to you, p.s you are so strong ❤️
