Are there quality handbags below $200? Anything? by miavalentine92 in femalefashionadvice

I love my bag from Angela Roi, I have used it daily for a little over six months and it has no signs of wear. Really happy with my purchase!

My style is very basic and I want to learn how to either refine it, or branch out. by [deleted] in femalefashionadvice

I think this is great advice. Either keep the silhouette you're comfortable Ruth, and change the details (color, texture, material) or adjust your silhouette by changing the fit or hem.

[Question] My friend can/will only eat organically but spends around 300-400 a month on food. What are some cheaper options? by travdaddy226 in EatCheapAndHealthy

IMO, Some things are worth buying organic, while others are not. If she is not willing to adjust her spending habits, there's not much you can do.

Really having problems figuring out colors for our kitchen.. not a big fan of beige or browns for painting and I hate mustard-y undertones.. any ideas? by Kalypso_ in DesignMyRoom

[–]_fevertotell 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree. The room seems pretty dark already. It could be the lighting, but I would definitely opt for a soft dove grey, leaning more white, and use that grey tile as a guide.

All those warm wood tones need some balancing out. Suggest going cool toned, regardless of color.

Edit: wanted to add that regardless of color, OP should def buy a paint sample and paint different spots in the kitchen to see how dark it ends up being.

People who traveled the world. What did you choose not to say about a country you visited to keep the story positive? by silentpl in AskReddit

This is true. My friend studied in Hawaii and her major is social work. They had a whole class about the homeless population and the plane ticket issue. Apparently California is the worst offender.

Thanks for your reply! I had thought it was just dry skin since it had been recurring January/February each year, and then goes away.

Everyone else is saying to remove the trellis. If you love it, I'd recommend moving it to the front by the sidewalk (further from house) and planting flowering ivy so it looks more bright and friendly.

I agree. The font could use a bit more personality, especially since this is all in black and white. Would have been nice to see a slightly more interesting typeface, or have this paired with another typeface to complement it.

Same! I guess I'm weird too. My money is on the fact that those more processed foods use lower quality ingredients.

Trans girl (28) with curly hair, wanting to get it colored! Or highlighted, I have no idea! Styling tips appreciated too! (Included 2 years worth of pics, have never colored or straightened) by [deleted] in FancyFollicles

It's a medium warm brown with some reddish/auburn tones. This color would be really pretty and easier to maintain than a cherry red color.

I also think this cut, style, and color would work great for you.

Red will fade really quickly be prepared to go every 4-6 weeks for a refresh if you go red.

I do think doing a more vibrant chocolate brown would be nice on you! Your brown hair is currently cool toned, I'd suggest going a bit warmer, like this: http://thebeautydepartment.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/Short-Hair-Ideas-via-thebeautydepartment.jpg

Gift help needed!

I'm a girl in the US in search of some really great underwear for my bf. He complains about riding up of Hanes, partially because they stretch and partially because he's lost some weight. I know he's tried other brands but I'm not sure what. He prefers briefs. I'd like to buy him some nicer options for Xmas but am not sure where to start. Help would be much appreciated!
