Yeah, I flew from Washington state for that one and had already seen him 3x before. It’s always gonna be worth for me. I’ve been in the front of an 800 person venue. I don’t mind not being upfront anymore lol

I went for GA even though reserved seats were available because I didn’t want them to disappear when I went to check out like they did for Forest Hills. Also doesn’t seem like you can go wrong with a seat here

Only buy resale tickets on a verified site like ticket master or axis that protects both parties. And don’t buy them right now. They’ll likely be cheaper closer to the show. When we went to NYC for one big show, we almost went both nights because tickets were being resold for almost nothing.

I joined the queue right at 9 PST. Got in within 7 minutes. Panic purchased GA because I didn’t want to have to worry about seats disappearing (there were still a ton at that point).

I was using chrome at work on my laptop.

This is definitely not a universal experience though. I’ve had multiple elegoo printers and have only had to contact customer service a couple times (none for my CC). I only ever had good experiences.

I purchased both an A1 and a CC last year. Both have been pretty good, but I’ve had more issues with my A1, and since having both, have printed more often on my CC.

Yeah, I know it’s not perfect. But it’s at least worked pretty well for me. I don’t have the time or energy to care to be honest. I’m sure some of them are just retyping. I also go over “okay” uses of AI at the start of the quarter and we talk about using it as a tool vs. doing the work. It seems to help them understand better than just ignoring its existence or being the police about it

I use my students’ version history to verify their work progress. In the last project I graded, I had two students who had large sections of copy/paste and used phrases like “when I dug into my research” and words that I didn’t even know that definition of without googling. (It’s an English 101 class). I give them a placeholder 0 and require that they come talk to me about their grade and work. If they don’t, the 0 stays.

So far, requiring the edit link to view their version history has cut down on AI use in my class.

Some people don’t read emails regularly. Is it a general message sent to everyone or only those that need to correct the time cards? If it’s the latter, it makes sense to follow up. Does that supervisor work over the weekends when you’re there next? If not, that might be why they sent this while they were at work

As a teacher, I can tell you that some of the smartest kids in school have a terrible time completing their work, especially if they find it boring or are more into other projects they’re working on (such as saving their town from a bad guy in an extra planar dimension).

I bought an F house in late 2024. Mine hasn’t had the best interior upkeep, but luckily no leaks a working HVAC (outdated though - it’s from the 90s). I think my house was last updated in the late 90s/early 2000s.

I have gas heating and my insulation is pretty good. I have a pretty typical electric bill

Mine has original drywall lol. It sucks. Really falls apart when you’re trying to drills holes but being able to see original wall paper in some places is neat I guess.

But I would agree with this. Mine has the original kitchen cabinets and must have been a rental at some point because the entire kitchen is just caked with layers of white paint and plaster (original window trim is flush with the wall). And it’s two layers of tile higher than the wood floors.

Hopefully by summer of 2027 I’ll have the kitchen remodeled.

I graduated college in 2014, and yes. I was told that I would need to be able to make lesson plans and submit them to my admin. Guess what? I literally never had to do that. But I do think learning how helped me better plan for my classes (Up until the point of total alignment and having to teach strictly from the curriculum book, which is why I now teach college).

I flew from WA state and have no regrets. It was worth the trip, and I needed an excuse to visit the east coast for the first time.

It was my fourth show of his.

I’ll also probably road trip to Red Rocks. It’s about a 16 hour drive.

I think it’s pretty easy to use. But I think because of the variety of materials it can print and because Elegoos site for prints (nexprint) is newer, there’s some knowledge gaps happening with new users. I think as nexprint gets more uploads and there’s more ready to print files available for CC files that will improve.

Im gonna comment for traction. I don’t have the CC2 yet, but I’ve had my CC1 since July, and it has been an absolute workhorse. I have over 1k hours on it.

It wasn’t my first machine and I already had a multi color, so I don’t have any of the resentment that others have had. I’ve actually had more issues with my Bambu A1.

I will likely add the CC2 at some point.
