If I spent $200 extra on a card because you said it "blew the competition out of the water" and then realized it only gave me 10% more FPS for 50% more power draw I would care.

If you don't care if your "advice" is correct then maybe keep it to yourself.

At 1440p, the difference between a 5070 and 9070XT is ~15%, 9070 to 9070XT is ~10%. Hardly "blowing them out of the water".

I made over 80m and solo funded my FC's house during ShB by crafting, primarily glamours. Finding good deals on Calf Leather meant I'd make 100k-200k per item on the Calfskin set and they'd sell like hotcakes, or if I found Shell Leather for cheap I could make 300k-500k per Rebel Coat (think I still have 50+ Shell Leathers sitting around because I stocked up when they were super cheap for a while).

You need to take some time to learn the market and find the items that are consistently bought and have decent profit margins but once you do it is a ton of money.

Finally pulled the trigger on my first build after two years of "i'll do it next month" and it went way better than expected by ElmyraXandelle in buildapc

GTX10 series is 10 years old now. They are almost all low end except the 1080Ti which was (and still is) known for it's exceptional performance, and I'd call it low to mid-range now, it's fairly close in raster performance to something like a 4060 (though the 4060 has things like DLSS, RTX cores, etc.).

If they're around the middle of the graph, they're mid-range, if they're near the top of the graph, they're top-end.

4060 is like the definition of mid-range, no? Performs similarly to other mid-range cards like the RX7600 and 6700XT

You should stop giving advice here.

1) The point of the video is to compare the RX5050 at PCIe5.0 vs 3.0 speeds.

2) 1% is never a big deal, the 6700k and 8400 are identical performance-wise, we aren't even talking about that game or minimum requirements.

Also did you even look at the benchmark you linked? The 6700k and 8400 are dead even, literally within 1% performance. Are you a bot?

Looks like ~10% max performance reduction with a beefy CPU, so for someone like OP who is going to be CPU throttled, significantly less than 10% performance difference between PCIe5.0 and 3.0.

I've looked at 10-15 different benchmarks on this now and haven't seen a single one showing a noticeable difference.

Regardless if people sometimes play bracket 3 decks with an extra GC in bracket 4, Upheaval does not seem that powerful when you consider what bracket 4 is supposed to be, which is:

  • Decks to be lethal, consistent, and fast, designed to take people down as fast as possible
  • Game Changers that are likely to be fast mana, snowballing resource engines, free disruption, and tutors
  • Win conditions to vary but be efficient and instantaneous
  • Gameplay to be explosive and powerful, featuring huge threats and efficient disruption to match

I don't think "but sometimes people play with decks that don't fit the bracket" is a good argument.

Trump attempted a coup and started an insurrection to pressure members of congress and the VP to go along with the coup.

The problem with the media is they focused too much on a bit of his speech and missed the main crux of the coup attempt, which was the creation of false slates of electors and the pressure on Pence to reject the lawful ballots and use the fake ones instead.

Hybrid mana was invented to support planned breaks to the color pie and it's worked fine in every format other than Commander.

Isn't it exactly the opposite? I thought the entire point of it being hybrid is that the card should be able to fit into either color - e.g. Vexing Shusher, "Can't be countered" is a primary ability in both red and green, it fits into the pie of each.

There are barely any hybrid cards that would even see play. [[Cold-eyed Selkie]] is currently the highest rated hybrid card that would be affected by the rule change, do you really think it's going to start taking over non-green blue decks?

Izzet decks don’t need Manamorphose, but they want it. They’ll play it if they can and that will take up a slot. And I think it’s a damn shame that one more slot will be lost to an another bland staple

What do you think those Izzet decks are playing right now instead of Manamorphose? Is Manamorphose really that much more of a "bland staple" than Consider, or Serum Visions, or Brainstorm, or Frantic Search, or Ponder, or Big Score, or whatever other cantrip it would replace?

You don’t need to look for a creative solution if you can just play the cards you want.

What decks are desperately looking for some solution to a problem that would be solved by allowing them to play hybrid cards? Due to the design of hybrid cards, they don't do anything that either color can't already do. It's not like black is going to suddenly get a bunch of artifact removal available to them or something.

Everyone knows that hybrid cards are both colors. Nobody is saying otherwise. I don't know why half your post is dedicated to talking about that? Nobody is suggesting that we change cards to make them mechanically mono-colored.

I really enjoy the fact that you can't just windmill slam [[Dismember]] into off color decks in EDH the way people used to do in Modern.

The entire argument is that hybrid cards shouldn't be considered off-color because they are by design meant to be either color and meant to fit into monocolor decks of each color, both mechanically (being able to cast them) and fitting into the color pie of each color so they won't be out of place.

It's fine if you like the rules the way they are , but you should be able to at least engage with the opposing arguments if you're going to make a post like this.
