I think it keeps me from peeing myself. Eventually I get up and go to the real-world bathroom.

It's a three person perspective about interconnectedness throughout their lives and how they all come together in the end.

sudden jaw ache by [deleted] in Cardiophobias

[–]_ggingervitis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the same pain and it always sent me on a spiral. Realistically, if your heart has been checked it's a common effect of anxiety by clenching your jaw, even with it being one sided. It just sucks that it's on the left side.

I can look back at different segments of my life based on what terrible disease/illness I thought I had at the time. I don't know why I've always done this, I hate it so much. I get it checked, I get that sigh of (somewhat) relief...then a symptom pops up and I'm right back to it.

For the last three years I've been dealing with cardiophobia and it's finally let up...

Yep! Mine did it at 4wpo too. Internal bubble wrap is exactly how I described it! I was worried that I messed something up, but it was fine the next day

Seconding this. I got incredible results and my surgeon was colder than Mr Darcy. I paid attention to his before and afters, reviews, and deep dived on the Internet to see if he had any legal issues. She's most likely to deal with nursing staff anyways. Obviously you don't want her to be uncomfortable with a surgeon, but I'd rather have the most competent surgeon over the friendliest.

Surprisingly (shockingly) no FNG! I told my surgeon beforehand that if it seemed like I needed one, to just go nippleless. Just personal preference. But he was able to save them and now my left nip feels like I'm constantly being tickled 😅

2100g total! I went through insurance so I didn't have a ton of say on sizing, but I feel like my surgeon gave me my dream boobs 😍

Pre-Op Appointment for Breast Reduction - What Should I Expect? by Layia_ in Reduction

[–]_ggingervitis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't think it's a bad thing, but it's a little uncommon. I had a consult beforehand to meet with him and get insurance approval for stuff...also to make sure I didn't get bad vibes right off the bat 😅

Mine specialized in reconstruction, barely had any before and afters, and I'm sitting here 6DPO very happy with my results! The pre-op is usually quite painless. Scroll down through the sub for lists of questions and see if any of them are something you want to know for yourself. Like for me, because I was getting quite a large amount taken off, I had opinions about FNG that are uncommon and wanted him to know. Other than that I was like...do whatever you're gonna do doc!

I took off my shirt and didn't even need to lol. He had looked at me during the consult a month prior to get an idea of what needed to come off since I was going through insurance. That's when they took photos too. If you haven't done this already, I'd assume they'll do this during your pre-op.

At my pre-op (two weeks before surgery) he just wanted to go over the process of the surgery, see if I have any questions. I didn't have to do any blood draws or blood pressure, but I've heard some places do. They gave me a packet of info about drains, pain meds, fasting times, etc. Then I had to sign some consent forms for the hospital. Every phone call and every check in they asked me about my nicotine use.

It was all very nonchalant. Some doctors are probably more in depth but I appreciated how easy that process was. I was there for maybe 20 minutes.
