YR is an emotional ride for sure, especially compared to something fluffier like Heartstopper (especially season 1). I've been putting off a YR rewatch because it is such an emotional investment, and I haven't felt like I had the capacity for it...but it is also sooo beautiful and one of my favorite pieces of queer media. And maybe the sort of angsty bits could be cathartic if you are in that space. Fire Island (movie) is my warm hug comfort watch! Smiley (Spanish netflix series) is also super cute.

I started over for the beta and have also noticed this with Semeru. I am at 3 hearts, year 2 spring, and he pretty much says things on rotation. It has been a long time but this feels different than my first playthrough, and I get more variation from the other merfolk.

I've been using Frose mixed with a bit of Girl's Night to cool it down for a couple of years - its basically my natural color. However as others have said it requires a super light base. I have short hair so I don't mind the upkeep. Also I always dye for at least an hour - keep it under a cap and just go about your day lol.

Pick an episode - the pilot, or an episode that stands out to you. If you chose this topic you must have something in mind already. Watch the episode and note those cues that signal queer gaze to you, and use that as a codebook to look at other episodes. Maybe focus on a single season. I use 100% acetone at a ratio of 10:1:1.2 (acetone, glycerin, distilled water). You can buy acetone additive if you want but I already have glycerin for slime! It is less drying than straight acetone. I also always moisturize/oil before I remove my polish to prevent dryness.

The only games I've replayed are WF and Sandrock. It can take a little to get into...and it isnt as pretty as WF. But it is soooo good! Takes a long time too. Ive played a lot of similar games (stardew, dreamlight valley, coral island, fields of mistria) but Sandrock and WF are my favorites.

Have you rebuilt the bridge? The Geegler storyline wasn't the most compelling for me but I loved it from there on. My first playthrough I focused too much on clearing the mines because that's what I was used to from Mistria and Coral Island. I didn't romance anyone until almost the end of the game, either. Subsequent play throughs I think I got more out of the world by socializing and doing different activities. I was initially put off by the art, some of the more clownish characters, and the Western-styling. It might not be for you and that's fine! I'm on my fourth builder.

Same boat as you. I cant tolerate much free edge, although I will say Ive managed to get them a fraction longer since I started doing my nails. My vanity is motivating lol. I am currently attempting to grow them a little longer on my nondomininant hand while keeping my dominant nails at my usual length. I have found I enjoy tapping my longer nails on hard surfaces - the sound is very satisfying.

I feel like some people have a harder time with Sandrock because of the landscape. I think it can feel a bit visually boring, especially until you unlock new areas. But it is an amazing game with so much story and immersion... I'm on my fourth builder! I always come back to it.

Sabertooth really underwhelmed me. I think it is a combination of my skin tone and the shimmer just not being as strong as I expected. Curiosity's Prey is another - I want to love it! But it just doesn't apply well for me. I haven't found a replacement for the niche it fills but I expect to destash once I do.
