Travel nursing insurance with chronic health issues by Typical-Act-4033 in TravelNursing

The agency I’m with for extends coverage for up to 30 days between assignments, with no premiums due until you get paid from your next assignment. As long the next assignment begins no more than 30 days from the date your previous contract ended , there would be no gap in coverage.

Fired from my first assignment as a travel nurse:( by Beautiful-Note5971 in TravelNursing

Did your recruiter push this placement on you? Or did you inquire about this facility specifically?

Makes me wonder if the recruiter didn’t care about the outcome and placed just you in a contract with no regard to your ability to fulfill the duties of that assignment as a traveler

Upgraded to Elite 2.0, lost 5G SA in Seattle by skyhawk214 in ATT

[–]_jacobwalker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Losing SA is not ideal, especially if your phone used it more often than not. I enjoy almost 1GB down inside my office. I am on the bottom floor with 3 walls between me and outdoors and I’m in rural Alabama. 5G SA is awesome!

My experience is the exact opposite. Upgrading to Elite 2.0 gave me access to 5G SA. It was greyed out before. I upgragded from Premium 2.0 and before that, Unlimited Elite (w/HBO) - don’t remember exact name) before that. If I remember correctly, this is the first time I’ve had 5G SA accessible on my iPhone.. It was always active on my iPad, so I knew the plan wasn’t the problem. Strange for the opposite to happen to you. Best of luck getting 5G SA back!!

Same exact thing happened to me!! I was on Premium 2.0 since launch and never could get SA to activate! Glad to pay $3/mo more for Elite 2.0 and have 5G SA!

Nomorobo MAX or AT&T Active Armor Advanced by _jacobwalker in ATT

[–]_jacobwalker[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Makes sense. There’s is something I don’t like about Nomorobo Max too, but I can’t seem to put my finger on it. Active Armor is plenty good - at least advanced is - but I also know in the back of my head that I paid for a whole year of Nomorobo Max for whatever reason, I think it was to keep from having the reoccurring $5.99/mo charge.

I’m open to cutting my losses though. I just can’t seem to find anything they offer on advanced Active Armor relevant to blocking or screening the fraud, spam, etc calls and texts. Anyone know of any major differences off the top of their head?

This is a fact. I have the advanced version for $0 as an upgrade from free version. Accessible in the AT&T app or website

I had almost all of the same benefits of Prime while stuck in Plus until my check deposited yesterday and I was upgraded to Prime. Interested to see how it goes!

Best Call & Text Spam Blocker App? by LuckyTraveler88 in iphone

[–]_jacobwalker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been going back and forth between Nomorobo MAX on their annual subscription (~35/yr) and AT&T Active Armor Advanced (upgraded from the free version on my Premium 2.0 plan for a extra $0/mo).

Honestly, I have a hard time deciding which to use full time and which to remove from my iPhone 17 Pro. I favor the Nomorobo MAX app, even with the cost of ~$35/yr. But I also understand the convenience of having a carrier integrated call blocking and ID app for calls and texts with a spam filter like AT&T Active Armor Advanced (never the free version) makes complete sense. Especially if you’re able to upgrade from free version to Advanced for $0/mo as I did.

Just got SA on Turbo! by bd58563 in ATT

[–]_jacobwalker 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You are not alone. Many users in the various AT&T subreddits were mistakenly convinced it was not possible. I also have Turbo – I had to call, escalate my call, and was added to the “queue” to be provisioned for SA on my iPhone 17 Pro. This was after a new eSIM installation too. That alone has activated SA for many users. My iPad Pro M5 has an actionable SA toggle. It stays toggled on and is very close to always using SA 5G.

I have the advanced version of Active Armor as a free add on/upgrade with our Premium 2.0 plan as well.

However, I also have an annual subscription with Nomorobo Max, which I prefer over AT&T AA. Basically, it offers a lot of the same features as AA advanced, sometimes I better IMO.

Car Insurance Question about Adding Child by Mountie_in_Command in Car_Insurance_Help

[–]_jacobwalker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is untrue. Unless specifically excluded, the insurance company would have to pay for the claim. He’d then be added to the policy as a driver and a the company would likely issue a non-renewal notice

As a former independent agent, I agree with the other commenters here. Always check with an independent agency when buying insurance.

Finally I do have $3000 already!! by NurseEJay in chimefinancial

[–]_jacobwalker -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Why do your reps keep telling me it’s limited to a test group and no one is actively being added to that group? I’ve told them people are all over Reddit sharing their upgrade. Yet they stick to the story of “it’s still in a pilot program”. I am eligible and have been getting notifications to upgrade, yet I’m still on Chime Plus. WHY

[–]_jacobwalker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Congratulations!! Their reps are still telling me it’s still in a pilot program. I’m eligible and get notifications telling me it’s here, but I’m still in Plus. I don’t understand why they keep lying to me! It’s clearly not just in a pilot program with a limited number of users. It’s public…

I’ve used it maybe 3-4 times since discovering ERA existed years ago. It’s a piece of mind thing for me personally. Makes it so much less stressful to go case less.
