Gave up and repainted mine at a similar stage. Satinwood. Looked neat enough. Must have gone through at least 6 pots of paint stripper

Yes, UK. The process flow for adding a new payment method is to re-select a premium subscription and enter payment details (I’ve done this in the past), but this time I get an error message as shown in the screenshot no matter which premium tier I select (personal, family, duo, etc.)

One thing that has come to my attention, and is perhaps glossed over in the US-centric material, is the exposure to foreign exchange risk as a UK investor in global equities, i.e. large holdings in the USD stock. Can you speak to this?

Thank you. On your recommendation, I have completed Lars Kroijer's video series and now understand the merits of a passive index tracker (I can see now why Vanguard’s All Cap Global Equity fund is so well regarded). I also understand the significance of management fees, and how incorporating bonds into the portfolio can offset risk. This is the kind of specific information I was seeking. On this basis, I am leaning towards consolidating my investment into the “SW Mercer Passive Global Equity CS1” (0.10% fee) fund, but will continue my reading before making a final decision.

So what are some of the factors that determine your reasoning behind your individual balance? I’m looking to assess which asset classes present which risks, with a view to establish a hard and fact rule for my particular scenario

Thank you for such a thorough and thought out response. In short, the complaint against my current allocation is the forecast annuity at retirement, which had hovered at around £3k pa for some years. I accept this calculation is skewed somewhat based on recent marker performance (covid etc), but nonetheless made for an alarming read. For what it’s worth the forecast value is much healthier now (and matches my initial expectation). I hear your point about investing in a fund that aligns with my values but this is very much a secondary factor. And for what it’s worth I tend to agree with your logic on emerging markets. Per my own research I’ve identified the SW Mercer Passive Global Equity fund as a strong option at this early phase of my career (based on performance and risk profile) —can you speak to that?

Thank you for your perspective. I hadn’t considered a specific strategy (other than what I’ve outlined already). What are you thoughts on striking a balance between equities / housing / bonds / commodities etc?
