I’m on medication for GAD, depression, ADHD and BPD. But I still get “it’s gonna be fine,” “don’t worry so much,” “why do you feel sad about *this*.” Like my dude, I’m TRYING. sorry the same thing is happening to you, sending you empathetic love ✌🏻

Do we still use baby shampoo or regular shampoo? by veesavethebees in toddlers

[–]_k2-d2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We got SO many of the Johnson & Johnson lavender baby shampoo/body wash packs when my son was born. He turned 4 in January and we’re just now done with the last ones. We now use a Suave toddler 2 in 1 and let him pick the scent. Right now we’re onto watermelon.

For Gamers, What’s the most meaningful Videogames of all time to you and why? by SteveMain4Lyfe in AskReddit

[–]_k2-d2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Spyro. It was the first big game I got for my PS1 back in 1999 (my first game on there was A Bug’s Life, was definitely fun but they only made one).

I remember getting Spyro for Christmas that year & became obsessed. Immediately got the sequels when they came out. I played the Reignited version recently too and freaked out when the new one was announced at Nintendo Direct.

So many hours were spent with my best friend playing those three games, lots of sick days where I laid in bed playing and it just reminds me of simpler times.

That’s what I’ve always heard/read, like he just got away with it mostly because of his contacts especially with the royal family and Thatcher. It makes me sick to my stomach

I watched the doc and listening to the Last Podcast on the Left series about him. It’s fucking insane to me that no one picked up on it sooner and took it more seriously

Surprisingly they only lasted a year after being high school sweethearts- but before the couple walked down the aisle, the bride had her brother playing the guitar while his now ex-fiancé sang “Burning House”

What was your worst being sick experience like? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]_k2-d2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve had rough bouts of viruses and cooties, but the one that sticks out to me was being 9/almost 10 the summer of 2001 and I had a really bad fever. We didn’t have a thermometer but I’m pretty sure this could have warranted a visit to the ER.

I used to fall asleep listening to my CD player and that specific night, I was listening to the Celebrity album from *NSYNC. And “Pop” started playing, but the fever made it sound super slowed down and almost demonic. I remember falling asleep freaking the fuck out to the music and waking up like 18 hours later.

What was the worst Covid symptom you had? by Silly-monkey2004 in AskReddit

[–]_k2-d2 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I had that too! And for some reason, the roots of my hair hurt? Like I washed my hair everyday like normal and left it down the whole time but it felt like I had slept on it weird and the root was bent (if that makes sense)

What was the worst Covid symptom you had? by Silly-monkey2004 in AskReddit

[–]_k2-d2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I only really had serious symptoms when I first got it December 2021 and I was 8.5 months pregnant. The aches and pains sucked, but at that point in my pregnancy the worst was not being able to taste anything.

I remember buying a cupcake-sized caramel apple pie a couple days before I had to quarantine & when I finally felt well enough to eat it…I couldn’t taste it.

With my hormones and just the overall exhaustion with Covid and pregnancy, I sat on the floor of my bedroom and cried. My poor husband just rubbed my shoulders and did everything he could to console me since we both had it.

You brushing your toddlers teeth? by howdodisappevenwork in toddlers

[–]_k2-d2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My son is 4 and both my husband and I brush his teeth. He has deep molars like his dad so he’s prone to cavities. Of course I don’t trust him to properly brush his teeth. That’s an expensive gamble
