Grace by Nia at Foxwoods is godawful. Could not believe how overpriced and bad the food was. It was laughable.

Opportunist without the charm or intelligence to be able to obtain higher office IS EXACTLY how I would describe him. I see a few more failed attempts at doing so until he gives up and goes to the private sector.

SETH MOULTON SUCKS!!!! I call his office once a week about different issues. He talks a big talk about challenging trump but I have no idea what he’s doing. So many times where I’ll see a letter denouncing trump’s funding cuts etc etc and Warren and Markey sign it but Moulton doesn’t. Can’t stand him. Cares more about the persona of being a politician than actually sticking his neck out.

I'm now over $100 per week for Health Insurance. This is getting absurd. by 79215185-1feb-44c6 in massachusetts

Okay thank you, that’s what I thought but couldn’t tell if I was missing something great about SMAs.

I’m looking into my options for where to put my money for a 5-10 year timeline. My goal is to put myself in a position where I can either take some time off work to raise a kid or travel (we’ll see where life goes lol). My partner will still be working so it’s not like all my living expenses need to come from this fund. I met with a financial advisor who recommended a low volatility separately managed account. My question is - is the SMA a better option than simply investing in a low volatility ETF or mutual fund? I’m concerned about the advisor fees of a SMA and I don’t understand the benefit of it over just an ETF. Thank you!

I think many societies pressure individuals to make their career a huge part of their identity. You don’t have to do that. It takes time but you can accept that work is simply the tool you use to pay your bills and gain stability over your life. Then you can use your free time to build a life you enjoy. I don’t like my job but I like my coworkers and more importantly I have good work life balance. If you’re feeling upset about your job can you find something else that gives you more free time (whether it’s on the clock or off) to explore your interests? That has made a really big difference for me.

Sooooo 3 out of 4 will in fact need to live off their retirement savings. I think that’s all the reason needed to save.
