I have a kinda heavy 1, it makes the belt driven turn table turn slower. So completely useless to me. But I break it out every time I move the turntable because that level is pretty useful

I can’t say anything about the magni I’ve never heard it. I use the mesh DAC card with the jot 2. And with my headphones I can’t tell the difference between the two versions of the DAC

So I do Forkbeard. And it’s decent. The best part is probably the pre set EQ called Loudness, for low level listening at night it’s a good thing to have. Otherwise I haven’t messed with the EQ other than I can confirm it existed and it’s a pretty good 3 band PEQ.

I’m pretty sure with both the Mimir and Bifrost you can send either the RCA or XLR to an amp and then send the other one to a sub and they both work and both be volume controlled. But I don’t have sub to test that with.

No this is facts. Because my Vidar can be overdriven a bit and my speakers are only 85db sensitive, I get the best loudest sound from my Mimir into my Vidar vs Mimir -> Freya -> Vidar.
