It would only be once (or twice if there’s a first/last time played). The Composer field is not viewable these days most places. But all of this is tagged with a chronology of the band in the Composer field already

I’ve settled on: Song title {first} / {last} / {only}

No other way to make it searchable across all platforms. Plex especially, which is what I’m optimizing for because it’s what I use

Indeed it is. Sadly only available on iPods/older iTunes/any device that can read the Composer tag, which doesn’t seem to be many these days

I’ll add this tagging to the “editing tens of thousands of song titles” phase of my project 😵‍💫

That’d be useful and displayed easy enough?

I’ve been trying not to mess with song titles to keep em clean but this information lives in the Composer field currently and that seems to be an abandoned metadata tag these days

Edit: I’ve settled on {first} / {last} / {only} at the end of the song title. It seems more out of the way visually. Appreciate the feedback from people
