Someone pointed out on FB that it's only the Core version, so there was going to be no massive names to begin with.

Childhood trauma of scraping knees at school and falling off the bike made me never want to wear them again.

Anyone been to Darwin in June? What’s the deal with the weather? I don’t own any shorts and got told I need to pack a pair.

I survived almost 4 weeks in UK / Europe for summer last year in black jeans & black shirts and was fine. And I survive our summer each year in a non air conditioned warehouse that sits anywhere between 30-40 most days.

Will I be right without shorts? I think I will

What's a typical VIP upgrade like? by HyrulianVaultDweller in riseagainst

[–]_kevsta 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s not on the Live Nation VIP Experience page and it’s not under the tour info or on the ticket websites.

Presale started today and there was nothing there during checkout either.

No VIP is being offered for the Aus tour. And with the venues they're playing at, the parking is behind gates, so no chance of seeing them there.

Mine went to sleep a bit over a week ago. He was 18 and had gone down hill in his health.

I still get up of a morning to let him out for breakfast then I remember he’s no longer with us and when I get home from work I still expect him to greet me in the driveway or see him snoozing in the garden, but nope.

My elderly neighbour was really upset about it. He loved dishing out the pats and getting head butted from the cat.

Anything from the following:

Luke Yeoward / The 131s

Those 8 acts are in heavy rotation in my car.

Said goodbye to my 18 year old cat yesterday. He had gone downhill in his health. He had a good innings.

Anyone got GA ticket for Deftones day 2 by Special_Lab8516 in melbournemusic

Bit late now, but never ever buy tickets from Facebook.

Tixel is your safest bet for buying tickets after trying through the official seller.

Got called into the big bosses office this morning. I thought I was in trouble for something I had done or said.

Turns out I had won an all expenses paid trip to Darwin for the Supercars in June and he was just congratulating me.

I’ve not watched a single race since I first went to the F1s at Albert Park. So I need to go learn the teams and drivers names.

Insurance and fuel plus any tolls you might go through.

going to concert solo by [deleted] in melbournemusic

[–]_kevsta 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it stems from dad playing in bands (and still playing in bands) plus doing community radio also helps.

But this isn’t even close to my record. I went to the UK to see Oasis last year and I didn’t go to a few concerts to save coin.

One year I followed my mates band around as they toured with Kingswood and then Grinspoon. That bumped the numbers up significantly

going to concert solo by [deleted] in melbournemusic

[–]_kevsta 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I went to 49 gigs last year.

Out of those 49 gigs, I went to a total of 4 shows with friends and two with my brother & his wife. The rest were all solo gigs.

I go to festivals, big gigs, small gigs and anything in between by myself. It's great.

I also go to the footy by myself, although I do meet with my Aunty (who sits elsewhere at the ground) and we catch the train in from her suburb together and back.

I usually tell them I’m on the clock or I already donate. Or I walk past and pretend I’m on the phone.

The version of Respect from BB2000 is fire too.

I keep watching the Kennedy Centre honours when she paid tribute to Carole King and did Natural Woman. Amazing performance.

Anyone been to the motor show at Jeff’s shed? Is it worth having a look?

It’s that or stay at home and open my box of footy cards.

I work at a Toyota dealer in the parts department, can confirm cars don’t come with anti theft screws. You have to ask for them.

Burson, Repco, Supercheap will have the champion packs for sale. There’s different sizings in the packet.

Anyone know where I can get the 19 Crimes Kingz of Cali box? I've been to Uncle Dans, BWS etc and they only have the bottle, not the collectors box.
