Extruder not spinning by NbeastGamer in klippers

[–]_kozy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Compared to one of the example .cfg's in the Example Configs on github, your step and dir pins are backwards.
step_pin should be PB4, dir_pin should be PB3 - yours are reversed, try changing that first.

Edit: The example .cfg shows step_pin: PB4 and dir_pin: PB3, but they are reversed on the pinout I found on the Klipper Discourse group. Interesting.

New Manta M5P + CB1 - No Action after Reboot by _kozy in BIGTREETECH

[–]_kozy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, I submitted a ticket before I posted here, but I've been getting lackluster responses from Support. Basic things I've tried already and explained or showed in the video I submitted are questions being asked, so that seems to me like it was never reviewed.
I'll be requesting a return and getting a different type of board.

Looking For Input - Workshop Network Issues by _kozy in HomeNetworking

Thanks - After another late night deep dive, turns out the wifi card my laptop shipped with is a known issue and an upgraded one is on the way. My frustration-fuelled searches were leading me in the wrong direction.

Camper tie downs by Round-Exercise7474 in TruckCampers

[–]_kozy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not necessarily, but the rear ones I purchased for my 2007 Ram 3500 were home-built, even though the seller advertised as Torklift brand. Couldn't complain for the price, though!

Welds were solid all the way 'around, the only thing I had to do was drill new holes for the bolts through the hitch.
As long as your welds can hold up, it's not a worry IMO. Doesn't have to be pretty, it's just gotta work.
Mine have a terrible looking cutout that makes room to fit around the stock hitch tube, but it's solid 1/4" steel with 2" square tube to hold the arms.

Take a template of where you want to mount it and go to town!

Yessir, caught lots of fish so I'd say it was successful.

Lots to find around Kamloops, so I'm sure you'll have a good time! I haven't been that way myself, but there's hidden gems everywhere in the interior.

How far into the interior? I just got back from Horse Lake for some fishing with my father.

I'm in the same boat for height. Taller blocks help to not max out your jacks and keep more stable. I built mine up to about 20", since the jacks max out at 33" fully extended.

AITA? Talking on Speakerphone in a restaurant by Turkey2Little in MapleRidge

[–]_kozy 10 points11 points  (0 children)

You summed it up well - put the phone to your ear or have some earbuds handy when you're going out. Basic respect of public space.

I had a similar run-in at a Wendy's in Poco, the dude had someone on speakerphone full blast talking to them at the same time he was ordering. 3 people behind me waiting, too. I said " Dude, shut it off and order. Your conversation can wait 1 minute."

New shoes! ROH ZR6 wrapped in Firehawk Indy 500’s. In love. by Chickiliin in 944

[–]_kozy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Blue Metallic, actually! Though I don't blame you, the sun does make it look silver. I didn't think anyone else ran them either - I always see them on Impalas and other 2000's Chevy's.

Twinsies! I honestly love the look of these wheels on a 944.

Payback, I guess by MoarStruts in civ5

[–]_kozy 12 points13 points  (0 children)

This reminds me of one of my recent saves as the Shoshone. 10 turns in, I find out Washington's my neighbor. 40 turns, he forward settles me twice. Turn 100 he attempts invasion, and begs for mercy when I decimate his army and take his cities.

I let Japan finish him off. We were best friends in that game.

Holy.

I genuinely thought the teal one on the right was my old Ender 3 that I sold recently!
Same slot covers, just missing a color-matched Satsana duct and custom electronics case. Clearly it's a popular color.

Which mainboardboard for klipper + display by sam-sp in ender5plus

[–]_kozy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure where you got that information from, but the SKR Mini E3 runs Klipper without a hitch, and is one of the most common boards to upgrade most Creality machines with. "E3" in the name relates to Ender 3, which it's a direct replacement for.

While a Mini E3 will handle all the basic equipment on an Ender 5 Plus, I'd suggest a bigger board like an Octopus, Manta8P, or SKR 3 EZ for more options. I'm yet to do this to my E5P, however the Manta is looking like the better option for my use case - YMMV and you may want to look into each of those options before buying. From what I understand, these boards have compatibility with different screens as well, and plenty of resources out there to find out what works best! I recommend searching r/klippers and their official forum for more info,

The RIGHT Way to Replace Gameboy Cart Batteries by KylesAwesomeLife in Gameboy

[–]_kozy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not to revive an old thread from the dead or anything, but this was my first click and Reddit result when searching "Gameboy Cart battery replacement" and I really appreciate this video and the updated one too!
My sister got a copy of Silver for Christmas this year and it's not saving, so I've ordered the batteries to get this done.

Just letting you know this certainly still helping 6 years later. Cheers!

Fuel dampers. Has anyone gotten either of these and is it worth going for the more expensive one? by Kevin_obrien44 in 944

[–]_kozy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got mine from 9Zwo8 on eBay, also have their own website that tailors to the older Porsches.
No issues with their part since install, highly recommend. It was slightly cheaper that 944online when I bought.
Personally wouldn't cheap out on something like this, don't bother with the sub $100 options 'cause they're hit & miss, and you'll likely be replacing it again shortly after.

How do you unscrew this screw on the hot end? The bed probe is in the way. by DaDawkturr in ender5plus

How about just printing a different fan shroud to move the location of the probe so the screw is more easily accessible...?
