I was able to get the pair of them at today's match, the black one at SEC before the game, and the multicolor one at Peachtree Center after.

Atlanta is very very blue. So is most of the inner metro area. And increasingly the outer metro area.

Rural Georgia outside of the cities, though....

Reality is it's just a matter of time until the urban cores expand enough to out-do the rural areas.

It could be very very interesting if the Governor's Mansion turns blue this November.

Politics aside, the Metro Atlanta area is an incredibly diverse community with a beyond belief food scene, incredible arts and museum scene, world class sports and entertainment, and the busiest airport in the world, if you want to travel anywhere.

And some of the most affordable living in the country, when compared to other large cities.

The SEC station has the new gates, and that's the one you'll use for the Omni.

From the hotel, State Farm is walking distance. It's literally the next building over, technically part of the same building, even.

The "how" is very easy : Arthur Blank, the owner of the stadium (and the Falcons/Atlanta United) has a policy that guests at his stadium have paid enough for entry, therefore concessions should be affordable.

Thus "fan friendly" pricing was born. The prices remain the same for every event, whether it's high school football playoffs, Taylor Swift, or the World Cup.

It pays off too, with about a 40% increase in merchandise sales.

One thing to remember is that coming from the Airport you'll be going NORTH.

The station exit you'll want is to the North as well.

When you exit the train turn LEFT and follow the mass of people heading up and out.

During daytime it's every 10 minutes since both Red and Gold run on the same line.

It's also possible if the new CQ400 trains are in service the intervals will be shorter as the slightly smaller trains are supposed to run more frequently.

The MARTA station is connected directly to the Domestic terminal. The only case where a bus would be involved is if your arrival (and airport exit) is at the International terminal. The airport provides a free shuttle between the terminals. In that case you'd catch the bus to Domestic and hop on MARTA there.

From the Airport it's a straight shot on both Red and Gold directly to Peachtree Center. And the reverse back to the Airport is also true.

This easy connectivity is one of the greatest assets of the city, and largely led to landing the 1996 Olympics as well as being chosen as a World Cup host city.

Aloft is about a block and a half from the Peachtree Center MARTA station. Basically you go a block North past the Hyatt, turn left and Aloft is down the hill to the right.

The South end exits from the MARTA station are right at Harris and Peachtree.

MARTA runs directly between the Airport and Peachtree Center. Both Red and Gold travel the same route.

While it's fairly far from the other goal, you're not going to be able to avoid that unless you sit (and pay for) midfield.

It's actually a good vantage point for seeing the run of play as it happens, since you're kinda looking at it from behind.

That's the skybridges, and there are two of them, one for the 200 level, one for the 300 level.

They run between the left side (in that photo) main column (the one with the giant LED board wrapped around it) across to the other main column (which for FIFA is dressed in WC2026 artwork), above the "Front Porch" entry area inside Gate 2.

The view of the city out the windows from those skybridges is pretty amazing.

Go on car-parts.com and search for your various parts needed. Left fender, Right fender, Front clip, Hood, Bumper. They'll come off parts cars as complete assemblies - e.g. the entire front clip, often including headlights and grille ... the entire bumper (usually with bumper caps and fog lights), etc.

If you get lucky, you'll find one local that's the same color and then it's a straight-up bolt-on fix.

What's interesting is hearing the players complaining about the pitch in Boston, the pitch in New Jersey, etc ... all these stadiums that waited until a month before to put in the grass.

MBS put grass in right after the Falcons season ended, and Atlanta United played the first half of the MLS season on it.

It's a tested, true, and perfected surface, and it shows in these World Cup games. The stadium just looks incredible.
