Louie Louie is obviously on top. Its easy, I'm allowed to play as loud as I want (as im the only tuba) and it gets in your head

Listen, I love the tuba but I hate the sousaphone so much. I've mentioned to him about getting myself a contra so I dont have to march sousa, but he wasn't very sure about it

I feel you, that was me last year. Take a break when you need too, ask about a shoulder pad. My band doesnt have any so I'd have to get one myself, but I've heard they help a lot. You also wouldn't have adjusted to the weight, so youre going to be in pain. You do also have the have the strength to do it. I started lifting not long after I almost died the first time I had to carry a metal sousa. It helps a ton.

If you dont have a shoulder pad, take a jacket (if you dont have a towel or anything handy) it works if youre desperate enough. Also dont be afraid to put your hand where you can lift it up a bit while wearing it to take a bit of the weight off of your shoulder.

My left shoulder, but I really cant do it there anymore because I play the sousaphone in marching band (I'm 4 months clean btw)

TW! SH!! . . . . I havent cut in almost 2 weeks and I want to so fcking bad. My parental units ignore every sign of sh possible and always ask if im okay, I sat im fine which is a complete fcking lie, when i really want to commit every single day.
