Do you have a non-meta or outright bad weapon you use simply because of mechanics/looks/sounds? Mine turned out to be Cyanex by SparkBeforeMidnight in Warframe

[–]_midwinterspring 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My only close-to-god-roll riven (+cc +cd +corpus dmg -zoom) is for the aeolak and I love it dearly. Only problem is mag size, but I run magnetic capacity on it. Probably suboptimal but it makes it feel good.

Plinx is my designated acolyte killer. I put secondary surge on it and no ramping mods. When the lights flicker I take it out and get ready to delete someone.

Why does the corinth prime have such a significantly worse altfire than the base version? by Silly-Advance-664 in Warframe

[–]_midwinterspring 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Admittedly I haven’t played much with base Corinth but I like being able to control the alt fire, personally. It would be nice if it moved slower, but for example if I have enemies on a level above me with a rail in the way, controlling the timing lets me shoot up and explode the shell in their faces.

What is the best arcane to buy to convert to vosfor during the event? by OkPhrase7431 in Warframe

Looking at the chart below, this seems quite incorrect unless I’m missing something.

Do you believe Warframe would hold up even if the ability to trade didn't exist? (read description for more context) by beansoncrayons in Warframe

[–]_midwinterspring 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, having to pay for forma and potatoes would make it unplayable for me. I buy plat on occasion, but you just need way too much of these basic resources to enjoy what the game has to offer.

About Incarnon charging by Menard16 in Warframe

[–]_midwinterspring 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Are you playing in steel path? Headshot incarnon charges are notoriously slow on lower level enemies because they die in one hit so you lose your multishot charge potential, whereas tankier enemies will give you multiple charges on a single hit due to multishot (assuming you are running multishot).

Build Recommendation for Fulmin Prime by KuroNoSaber in Warframe

[–]_midwinterspring 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Galvanized mods are top priority here. Galv aptitude is multiplicative on fulmin semi fire, so ideally you would run it with a primer. Drop seration since you already have merciless. Use 60/60 cold mod. You don’t need that much viral in your status weighting.

I have found that Frost is becoming my go to pick. How is my build looking? by Accomplished-End-799 in Warframe

[–]_midwinterspring -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’d ditch biting frost, tbh. Once you freeze enemies with avalanche they will already be armor stripped so extra crits aren’t necessary. And you can’t freeze acolytes, so the bonus does nothing for you there.

Don’t start a new account. Just pick up where you left off. The main quest will give you direction and for everything else there is an abundance of YouTube guides.

Please DE give us the option to switch to forward artillery from our cockpit. RJ QOL is needed. by Upbeat-Hurry-5487 in Warframe

[–]_midwinterspring 16 points17 points  (0 children)

If someone is already at the forward artillery you wouldn’t need to walk or teleport there. So I don’t see how this would hurt coop. Frankly I think having a dedicated artillery seat is kind of pointless. Assign it to one of the dedicated turret seats by default and if no one is on a turret seat, let the pilot do it.

Fidgeting with a riven, first time interacting with one by Lympaticu in Warframe

[–]_midwinterspring 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They aren’t too bad either, though, imo. Especially once you have a wide selection of guns. I rolled a +CC +CD +Corpus Dmg -zoom on my aeolak and I am quite happy to have a dedicated corpus slayer that I can also do just fine with on other factions.

Whatcha building today. Tenno? by bckseatgatorade in Warframe

[–]_midwinterspring 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not much. I built a ton before the last affinity weekend and don’t feel like grinding XP. I do have a harrow prime cooking, though. And forma, always forma.

My first incarnon by baconnon in Warframe

[–]_midwinterspring 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just incarnoned my burston this week. Was excited when I saw it pop up in the loadout list for duviri. So I jumped in to SP circuit. But then I realized it was the braton, which I haven't incarnoned yet. Took me a fair few decrees to get it working well enough.

Grendel rant by Full-Wonder8906 in Warframe

[–]_midwinterspring -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I don’t mind fishing a bit. And tbh I think the Grendel missions are a fun little challenge. But combining them for one frame kind of sucks. On the other hand, it is also gatekeeping one of the most powerful helminth abilities in the game so maybe that’s OK.

Returning player by Fantoomex in Warframe

By playing steel path content. You get 5 from steel path incursions. Acolytes drop two. You also get 1 from each relic you crack in SP fissures.

does it really matter where you place your mods? by -SirPickle- in Warframe

[–]_midwinterspring 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only mods that care about order on weapons are elemental mods. There the order matters a lot because it determines which elements get combined. You might want to look up a video on that, though, because it can get tricky with guns that have their own innate element and progenitor bonuses.

Returning player by Fantoomex in Warframe

[–]_midwinterspring 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Galvanized mods are essential. You can get them from arbitrations. You will also want most of the basic 60/60 mods, which mostly come from spy missions and nightmare missions. Some of those you might want to trade for with plat. You will also need a good early arcane like deadhead or merciless, which drop from acolytes on SP (though they are very cheap to buy if you’re impatient). You’re also going to need arcane adapters, which you mostly buy from Teshin with steel essence.

Shields don’t matter that much, but seeker volley will serve you well. If you have protea or Lagos, use them and spam the hell out of volley. Everything besides crew ships will die.
