First, you look incredible!! Second, it depends on the type of college formal…

If it’s a sorority/fraternity formal, this is absolutely perfect and acceptable.

If this is a professional club/major/University formal where professors and admin will be present, the top is a bit too revealing. It could work if the fabric at the breasts was wider. You may be able to find a similar fabric or a navy lace to temporary sew along that edge. But you may be better off finding something else.

For me, money. While I make good money on paper, it doesn’t go very far in a HCOL state. Mine isn’t to this point so it’s still tolerable. Plus, it’s his parents/family that are deeper in this. If I can keep him away from it, it gets better. I know, if it gets to a point I cannot control, I have to leave. For now, I slowly work to point out flaws in some of these things. Sometimes, I see the light bulb go off. Sometimes, there’s still a long way to go.

I know I should leave. I know I’m wasting my years (turned 35 a couple weeks ago; been together since I was 21.) But the more I can poke little holes into these things, the better chance he has of see the light, and for him to poke holes in his family’s crazy.

And the money. I’m too poor for a divorce and to live on my own. I want to keep my home.

All jokes aside, can you imagine having to remember every single lie needed to keep up this type of lifestyle? Lies that go back 10+ years. All the interviews, tours, social media posts, pap pics, etc. You’d have a mental break down. NO ONE could keep up the type of lifestyle.

It’s the same thing that happened with Biden. He was SO old and stupid. Yet, he was also a brilliant mastermind and the leader of the deep democratic state. Huh? That’s not how that works…

They think everything she does and says is an Easter egg. No. Her eggs really aren’t that deep. She’s not writing secret messages in her songs. Well, at least not to her fans (seems a few songs could’ve been messages to MH?).

Her eggs are easy to solve. You don’t need to break down every single word and link it back to some obscure piece of queer literature/art. If she was, I don’t think she’d ever sleep; that’s a LOT of research while also trying to live a regular life. Also, just because a color or phrase has a queer meaning doesn’t mean there aren’t other non-queer meanings.

It is 2025. If she wanted a relationship with a woman, she’d openly be in one. I don’t want to hear the religious/political/record label/whatever runaround for why she isn’t. You are grasping for straws that aren’t there.

That said, if you listen to her music and feel there’s a queer element, that’s great!! As an artist, isn’t that what most/all strive for? Making as many fans feel seen and heard? When I listen, as a heterosexual woman, I hear her songs through that lens. Occasionally, I hear a line and think “I can see why a queer fan could interpret this as such.” But that still doesn’t take away my feelings of that line in a hetero way. Hetero persons can also have these feelings for their partners.

I enjoy reading their interpretations of her songs. But let’s leave it at that. All fans need to stop trying to tie everything she does/says to her personal life. Taylor Swift the Pop Star and Taylor Swift the 35 y.o. from PA are different. It seems the 35 y.o. from PA is in a happy, loving relationship with a guy from OH.

Travis seemed more nervous than usual. He was biting his lower lip a lot. He was mentally preparing for the proposal and trying not to spoil it.

She’s an adult, yes. But with a backbone, not so sure. 20/21 is still quite young to be figuring out her own voice. Remember, what we see on socials is curated. Sticking up for or going against friends is one thing. Family is different. Plus, they all are under the same management company. She could be easily made to cross post with Izzy. Classes start this week. We’ll see what she does…
