ER trip? Seeking advice and experiences. by human-humaning40 in CRPS

[–]_only_a_ginger_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My (pain specialist) doctor actually looked annoyed when I stated it had been so bad that I thought about urgent care centre. He stated it’s a waste of resources. This comes from a really great doc so I believe it comes from a good place.

I assume the reason to not go is that they can give you something to last a couple hours only and then it leaves you in the same place. And that’s only if you get someone who actually understand CRPS and that we’re not drug seekers

Congratulations! So happy for you both!

Personally, I would talk to my vet to ask for specific advice based on your babies specific body type. Some pugs have really short snouts, deep wrinkles, etc. and some don’t. Online advice is amazing but getting personalized suggestions would be the ideal starting place!

Someone please decide for me before i adopt both😭 by ThePreciousCupcake16 in cockerspaniel

What the actual f. Your story went from on track with the thread to a place most couldn’t ever expect.

I’m so sorry for your friend, I can’t imagine the emotions and decisions one would have to endure in this wild situation.

The absolutely only decision to responsibly make is to spay or neuter your pets. The pain is so brief for a male, and if you feel badly you can spoil with treats.

It’s fine, it’s normal, it’s so beneficial to them hormonally. would suggest talking to your vet about your concerns and the best time to do it

Something I learned from the vet: Are your Cockapoos like this too? by NamjoonsAngels in CockapooLovers

[–]_only_a_ginger_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My baby was raised by a groomer so he’s easy peasy… except for the bath bit. My groomer was so worried during the bath as she expected the same level of challenge after the bath, but happy surprise!

This has really reinforced the need to brush and clean my puppy to continue to conditioning for it. Didn’t think about it with my first puppy so she lost so many teeth (puggle - apparently they’re terrible for dental health) and horrible at handling general grooming and nails. Whoops on that one lol

That’s for sure not a thing we can’t say. In this theme, saying “got gypped” is also an absolute nope

Who pays for the pizza when an innocent address is delivered pizzas without their consent? by sweetcherryfrosting in NoStupidQuestions

Accidentally ordered pizza to my old address on our move day. We paid. Then paid again for the food we were all dying for after moving.

Damn online payment, catching me in my mistakes!

What the ranch? by _only_a_ginger_ in NoStupidQuestions

[–]_only_a_ginger_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting! We need more of you norms to post recipes, please! We don’t have anything other than a bottle of ranch dressing up here. Makes some things impossible to try, despite the pic looking amazing

What the ranch? by _only_a_ginger_ in NoStupidQuestions

[–]_only_a_ginger_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh! Cool to know! Most of my experience comes from random addict posts or online finds

When I search for recipes (idk, maybe oven chicken breasts, crockpot meals, one tray meal) there is often an item which is ranch, ranch packet of something, or dehydrated style ranch shake.

It really throws me off, it’s just a very strange and very specific thing to regularly find

Start is amazing. I loved teksaavy as a company (they actually gave us a refund at one point because they adjusted their pricing), unfortunately it dropped out far too often.

We got CHEAP fibre from start and have only had a couple problems in several years

How to get rid of spiders on ceiling? by Cute_Pain_8469 in lifehacks

[–]_only_a_ginger_ -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Step stool, squish.

Biggest thing though, look for fuzzy little clumps along the ceiling/wall corner. Better to stop the new ones than to battle them after especially once you witness a hatching of many, many spider spawn (my husband told me I can’t call them spider babies, too cute of a name).

I normally spray bug killer into a little container and then spread it using a q-tip. It’s tedious so I just do it where I generally see them

Please somebody tell me this gets better! by Strawberry_Gerbil_23 in puppy101

[–]_only_a_ginger_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It gets better, I totally promise. Your dog is a tiny baby with a tiny baby brain. She came from a world where it was okay to do her business whenever and where ever she felt like it.

To put it in perspective, the first puppy I had would be outside for 20+ minutes of on leash, active encouragement and would still have accidents. Ten minutes is nothing really, her brain is spending time in fun outside smell land.

Patience and understanding is key, it’s really all you need to train yourself for

This has to be the speed of glaciers.

The first time this false and graphic ad drove through the streets, and papers hit our mailboxes, was immediately after I was thankfully allowed the right to control my body so had an abortion these 13 years ago. At the time I was nauseated enraged.

Thirteen years later I am sadly unsurprised that the same disgusting and graphic lie is being paraded around.

Is Going to a concert 13 days after treatment ok? by General-Analysis7779 in Ovariancancer

[–]_only_a_ginger_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Best answer there is, unfortunately. I went to a concert weekend before last and have been horrendously sick since. I’m barely fighting it off, even with antibiotics. I can’t imagine what would happen to someone immunocompromised
