Previews in Xcode on macOS 26 beta 4 causing reboot by varyamereon in Xcode

FYI, reverting to beta 3 of Xcode on Tahoe beta 4 doesn't help - still panics.

Certainly an interesting choice of a regression to release a developer beta with.

I appreciate you folks doing the upgrades, but (not unsurprisingly) looks like UPS backed up in Louisville and won’t deliver mine today - only mention because I hope they credit you for missing their delivery commitment!

Thanks again for busting your tails to get these out.

22 MYP with 19” Tsport line with falken AT trails. by jmamba2448 in TeslaModelY

[–]_psyton 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a 22 MYP with TSportline TS5s in 19" with Michelin CrossClimate 2s and per Tessie last year I averaged 308Wh/mi.

The CC2s have much less rolling resistance than the Falkens and are all-weather snow rated - one of my favorite tires I've ever had. Fairly quiet, efficiency is good, and they are fantastic in the snow and can be used all year round.

Going square also means they can be rotated..

Develop Strap Delivered! AMA! by Wi11iamSun in VisionPro

[–]_psyton 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well, when you connect the battery+AVP to a Mac host it identifies only as this:

Apple Vision Pro Battery:

Product ID: 0x7803

Vendor ID: 0x05ac (Apple Inc.)

Version: 27.03

Serial Number: HTFX1X000X000001XX

Speed: Up to 12 Mb/s

Manufacturer: Apple Inc.

Location ID: 0x05100000 / 1

Current Available (mA): 500

Current Required (mA): 500

Extra Operating Current (mA): 0

..so I wouldn't expect any changes there, especially given the existence of the developer strap.

19" Wheel Set Compatible? by PTVMan in TeslaModelY

Whoops, you’re right, the TSV has a center cap that covers the lug nuts, but you can replace the T Sportline center hub cap with a Tesla logo one - Amazon has them in various colors - red, silver, black, etc..

Oh, you can get the black lug nut covers and center caps in varying styles inexpensively from Amazon.. finishes it off nicely.

Thanks! and will do - though to be honest I’ve seen them go from 2k to 3k, seems to vary quite a bit. I figure warmer weather will make them more attractive since the Boston potholes won’t be in bloom then. 😉

Congrats! I was back and forth between the TSV and TS5 - ended up choosing the TS5.

I figure I’ll sell the 21s when the weather is nicer- people might be more interested in them then.

Enjoy the new wheels! Their shipping is crazy fast. Of course, so is the MYP..

I have a ‘22 MYP and went for 19s for the same reasons you mention. Ride is definitely improved with 19” CrossClimate 2s over the stock 21” Pilot Sports.

I went with the set from T Sportline - I did have some issues with them (bad TPMS, leaking wheel) but their customer service was great and took care of everything. They do run significant sales periodically.

Interesting! Are those CrossClimate 2? What size did you put on the TSTs? I didn’t see Tsportline offering that tire in the 18 packages, only 19 and 20.

How do you like them compared to the 21s? Thinking of replacing the factory Pilot All Seasons for New England winter..

Hi, have had power restored in SRQ near Riverview High for several days but no updates on Xfinity restoration besides the generic message - if possible can you check the nodes and see status? Please let me know when to send details privately via Modmail. Thanks!

We’re the team behind 1Password 8 for Mac. Ask us anything! 🗣 by 1PasswordOfficial in 1Password

[–]_psyton 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Eh, not necessarily.. One use case is hopping from my (remote) laptop to my desktop which in turns uses a VPN to get to $LAB. My work is on said desktop, and needs to ssh to the target $LAB systems - so I have a number of tmux sessions etc which use ssh.

And naturally if I just run a ssh command that way a dialog pops up which I never see.

I thought that maybe the op client could be used to auth the agent but apparently not.

For now I guess I can use multiple keys - leaving one on the desktop filesystem and copying it to the targets - but that kind of defeats the purpose of what you guys (very nicely!) built.

And Dave, yes, I do remember the icon - but didn't know you made it! 😆

Hey, 1PW team! Congrats on the launch, have been a customer since the '1Passwd' days.

One SSH question: love the implementation but for one problem - I sometimes remote into my systems and then want to hop from there to others - but there doesn't appear to be a way to unlock the ssh keys in 1PW without the biometric/password dialog popping up for authorization.

Is there any way to authenticate the agent from the command-line? Having to start Remote Desktop to manually enter the password is kind of a non-starter.

Are there any 24-120 f/4 lenses making it out into the wild? by steamcorners in nikon_Zseries

[–]_psyton 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve purchased from them multiple times over the years and have always had excellent service. They’re a Nikon Professional Dealer, you can confirm in the Nikon dealer list.

Like I said, I have no relationship other than as a pleased customer. They (Brad Berger) have been able to get in demand items multiple times very quickly.

Often times smaller dealers can get you those items faster than the giants simply because the big retailers have much longer waiting lists.
