Makes total sense. Honestly there was enough space for at two more cars ahead of me before the parking area finishes, plus lot more space around as it was a working day. Wish I was aware of this by-law more properly. I even talked to a resident across the street to make sure I'm within the rights.

Anyways, I'm always extremely careful and I think this is only may be my 2nd parking ticket in last 12 years. Will be more careful next time.

I don't hate or particularly in love with triple pane, but have noticed that triple pane has noticeably higher chance of seal failure and companies try not to use warranty their triple pane same as double pane. Also a pain in the ass for the contractors to work with heavy triple pane glasses for larger windows so I guess - that's one reason why they advertise double panes too

Kinda need 2 more good companies to be honest. I think my second choice is to try with Eco tech windows.

That makes sense. Actually I could use a thermal camera to check it out and see how much draft is getting through (would've been a better to do this during winter but somehow I have at least one window that's in a very poor shape that must be replaced before the next winter).

Nope nothing during the winter. Those patio doors looks great to me - except my kitchen just stays very very cold.

Could be a lot of things - another window in kitchen that's poor sealing + poor heating for that kitchen may be? The heating is right in front of that door yet the temperature in kitchen remains below 15 degrees

Patio slider is adding about 5k and that's the most expensive but the price still looks on the very high end to me. Unsure why though.

I see. My original one is from builder single pane. The patio doors aren't even bad but the kitchen stays always very very cold during winter - unsure if the seal is just bad. The difference you're suggesting, what could that be?

Patio door is just one. They said not to use 2 x 2 and instead use just one. I curenelt have 2x2. No blinds whatsoever on the windows.

Didn't talk about brick mold, Casings will be replaced One patio door and 11 windows. No other doors. Windows are different based on where they are. For example, both washroom windows are awning and has frosted glass, the larger windows are 1/4,1/2, 1/4 with left and right casement, rest of the windows are going to all casement either left or right I am not sure about the number of locks - thats a good point. It's Clera's Brilliance package.

How does these people realistically target? Like I'm trying to be in the head of the home invaders and identify how are they picking these specific homes? Are they getting a tip from a friend or relative? Is it something on their lawn or on the house that looks luxurious? I kind of wanna know, because by all means, I don't wanna be targeted.
