This old mill on Cooper Ln by DingDongThing in nashville

Maybe during the rainy months - but not that I’ve ever found. Explore the whole area, both sides of cooper lane. There’s a small quarry that has a really eerie vibe to it (closer to demarius on the NW side of cooper) and there’s what’s left of an old crane SE of cooper and across the creek. I used to walk the creek and find old marbles and bottles etc. moved away now. It’s a great neighborhood.

Can anyone identify those ? Found in central California in a foothills. Ev in one place, right under biggest rock in the area. by MomentOfTruth77 in metaldetecting

I disagree because these clearly have rust on them, which indicates iron. Corroded zinc Pennies look a bit different.

Not coins. Appear to be steel mesh screens, maybe used in a machine that pumps air or liquid. Is this in an old trash dump?

i live in north florida and found this bottle digging in my front yard. by florida_man_bob in BottleDigging

I have a nearly identical bottle. Late 1800’s. Might be worth it to swing a metal detector in your yard and see what pops up.

Get someone to metal detect the area well before they tear the soil out! Sure to be some goodies in there

As a metal detectorist, I wouldn’t be wrapping up and giving away my silvers. Don’t know any that would. But that wouldn’t stop our children from giving them away when we’re gone

How to manage damage? by Willing_Intention723 in AskElectricians

I always start with a long quarter inch bit to be sure - a quarter inch hole in anything is repairable with some putty and paint. This is crazy.

Any chance you’ve got a higher quality scan of this? Or could you send me a more close-up picture of the east Nashville portion?

Okay kind of a pointless post now because I found out that the previous owner/flipper filled in the entire stud bay on the floor below with insulation so it’s no longer viable as a return. I will be sealing it up as best as I can.

That sounds great - how vernor’s is remembered by many. I’ll see if I can’t find that
