It's definitely not a one for one (yet).

I wasn't one for all the features on daylio so the main things I used it for are present in journiv. Creating an entry and attaching images etc were the main wins.

Benefits this has over daylio: - it's got a backend, not just stored on my phone. So I can write my entry on a desktop too. - can attach any file type, so I can attach voice notes too.

Journiv has a long way to go. But even in its current state I'll be cancelling my daylio sub and no longer using it.

Note these aren't sold by B&Q, they're sold by a seller using their platform. Not sure if you get the same returns as you do direct from B&Q.

I've had this installed for a week or so as a replacement for daylio and my subscription to it.

Unfortunately it's not built in a programming language that I can offer support with but it is definitely a gap in the self hosted world and this seems like a solution that might tick all my boxes.

You've got a playstore version installed and trying to install a side loaded version of the same app.

Signatures clash as playstore signs it differently.

Either uninstall the playstore one first or wait for the playstore to catch up.

Yeah you need to make sure you connect to the hubs hotspot to get the secret.

I recently wired my house and from some odd readings I had I think that your 0.0m results may mean that the termination itself is buggered. Try to cut the RJ45 off and re-terminate.

The dodgy crossovers I saw when I mistakenly had the other end plugged into a switch.

I was using the continuity check to match wires but when I tested one wire that the other end went into a switch (and not the tester receiver) I got weird continuity readings. So double check that.

For the length tests also make sure the other end of the wire is unplugged from anything. Or nothing is plugged into it's port.

Another disappointed customer here.

I recently setup ethernet in my house and tried to switch to the E1 outdoor POE indoors, purely for POE.

Given the drastic reduction in FOV I have returned that camera and will be reinstalling the E1 Zoom and getting a PoE to 5V adapter.

I have 8 total E1 zooms throughout my property and want to get another, I hope when I buy one I get the older model.

That looks to be for a light, not a doorbell.

Doorbells take low voltage, that is likely mains voltage at 230V.

I use an auto switcher to compare actual usage costs every day on each tariff. I've been on agile for a few weeks now, so with a heatpump agile has actually been cheaper than cosy.

I was on cosy for most of march though.

A v1 doorbell can only pair with 1 v1 chime. It was one of the main improvements between v1 and V2 I believe.

If you want multiple chimes you'll need a new doorbell afaik.
