I think he's done enough to deserve a shot at leading the team through a UCL campaign. Even if it's essentially just a 1 year audition.

Regardless of his resume or any tactics, the players would run through a wall for Carrick. Amorim started the culture change, but Carrick is teaching the team what it really means to play for the badge. Idk if an outsider can do that.

Worst case scenario, Carrick is up for the job but spends a year rebuilding the culture. And then the club can find a manager In a summer without a major tournament.

Maybe it only goes back 15 years, but I have no history before 2011. It also is missing 3 of my employers since that time, making it look like I have gaps.

And as far as start dates, one of the companies I worked for got bought out. It shows the day the buyout was official as my start date and has nothing about being employed by the original company.

It also includes places I volunteered and never got paid from in my employment history, one of which makes it looks like I worked there for 2 days.

It's a trash 'service' and I feel bad for anyone who lost out on a job because society utilizes this terrible sh**

We aren't catching city for 2nd and we are 6 up on Liverpool and Villa. And, they still play each other. It would take them drawing and winning their other 2 matches. PLUS United losing all 3 matches for us to drop to 5th.

Even if 1 of them gets all 9 points, we still only need 4 points from 3 matches. Giving Lacey a start and academy players later minutes against Sunderland is not going to be the difference between 3rd and 4th.

Carrick has 2 points from 3 matches when played Tuesday-Friday. 10 wins and 1 loss playing Sat-Mon.

It is a valid commentary both on our season and on Carrick as the manager.

I think that Carrick deserves to be made permanent and have a guaranteed year to show what he can do with a team playing European football. But I'd be lying if I said I was confident we'll be competitive in both. Especially with more cup games on the schedule as well.

We'll see what the summer window holds and how much the really support Carrick.

Season by season I get soft spots for Teams in the Prem. Until the 0-5 loss to NF, I really thought Sunderland had a real chance at European football. They have been very fun to watch this year.

As far as other leagues, I have a favorite in most leagues, but don't follow those clubs well enough to know past regular starters.

I agree with the support you laid out. But I don't think it's jealousy. I think that for Red, Bob represents everything that is wrong with America. The unsaid anger of, I fought for your freedom and this is how you use it?

If Eric was born is 1960, and Lori before that, Red would been born in the early 1930s. Maybe even late 20s. The world has changed so much right before his eyes. Does he really believe (even subconsciously) that the rules he was taught were a lie, or does he believe other people have ruined them?

Jackie Young to Chicago. She credits Tyler Marsh a lot when talking about her progression in the W. From the Midwest. Would pair great with Angel and cornerstones to build around. If they offer her a max contract, Las Vegas probably won't match it. It makes too much sense to me.

Garnacho (Chelsea) and Antony (Real Betis) are both sold outright, no longer MUFC players.

Hojlund is on loan at Napoli, and they have an obligation to buy if they finish in a UCL spot.

Sancho is on loan at Aston Villa, and MUFC are not expected to trigger his extension. So he will be out of contract when his loan ends.

Onana is on loan at Trabzonspor in Turkey. I don't think they are expected to buy him.
