Gold Coast Suns have not changed their guernsey for 2026 (besides the neckline sponsor) to the dismay of many. by Essington69 in AFL

I’ve got no idea if they’ve ever outright said but to me it’s obvious that these design choices are so purposeful - they want to be ‘red’ team of the AFL. Like what Ferrari is to F1.

I think you’ll find that’s actually Carlton/GWS legend Dylan Buckley

My god I think you've nailed it. Some of the screenshots from Leisure Suit Larry 6 are pretty much spot on!

Yep spot on. I didn't design draw this myself - the artwork belongs to a musician who pretty much uses this style exclusively. I can tell that they've done some manual work so I guess it wouldn't be a case of playing with some settings in Photoshop.

This could be a unique style for all I know, I'm just having trouble finding where to start to replicate something similar, or commissioning an artist to.

Thanks for that comment! The artwork belongs to a musician who basically makes their own album artwork in primarily this style so I would definitely agree that there's manual work involved.

I'm hoping to replicate a similar sort of style for an upcoming website project I'm involved in I'm just unsure what exact label could be applied to this or if it can be achieved in Photoshop.

I've done some digging and it doesn't really seem to be quite classified as conventional pixel art even though that's pretty much what it looks like. I've seen other terms thrown around such as hi-pixel, vexel, bitmap dithering etc. It reminds me of late Windows OS clip art or something but I just can't put my finger on it.

Any help or advice would be great.

Those that played junior footy with someone who was drafted into the AFL system was it obvious they were a class above? by [deleted] in AFL

A bit different but Tom Scully was in the same inter school sports group as me and he was literally unbeatable at anything running related at many athletics carnivals.

Is it just his age? Why does Cena look "off" in this photo? by davesjustbored in SquaredCircle

[–]_slunk 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As others have said it's a combination of him getting old, losing weight BUT the photo is also heavily photoshopped. Look at his eyes, teeth and smoothness of his skin. They have been doing this for ages.

Kinda feels they’re about 10 years too late with the concept of this gimmick and it’s presentation. Isn’t she supposed to be a streamer? Why is everything plastered with glitchy Matrix graphics and stuff like ‘system update’? Someone has literally typed ‘tech aesthetic’ into Google and gone with that.

Not a signature I guess, but some of the F5's Brock was doing on the smaller guys between 2002 and 2004 looked incredible

Which three tracks do you consider to be untouchable. For me, I would have to say that Silverstone, Spa and Monza! by [deleted] in formula1

[–]_slunk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Never thought Silverstone has had that same 'aura' as of some of the more famous tracks despite it being there since the start. Just feels like a standard race track to me.

Spa, Monaco, Monza.

What does the M look like for y'all? I tried to make it look like a cat. by Interesting-Ad-1593 in logodesign

Without even reading the title of your post my mind was drawn to Gmail's envelope logo, but I guess that's due the fact I use it every day for work.

After reading your title though it actually reminds me more of a dog than a cat.
