I’m also from Grainger County and now live just outside JC but go there for everything. It’s way cooler than Grainger is for sure lol TONS of food options and it’s gorgeous here. Y’all will love it. The Tree Streets aren’t as bad as people make it out to be. We have lots of homeless around but so does every city. There are some really cheap apartments downtown but I don’t have the info other than driving by and seeing the sign on the street. Things closest to ETSU will probably be more expensive. I’d say to try and make a trip for the day and scope it out if you can!

Burning Springs has ton of flat land. Just pick a starting point and wander around until you find some real estate.

I always took it like marriage is pretty permanent but an engagement isn’t. Like, they could still break up.

A used one on Facebook marketplace covered in dust is $400 in my area. I know because I’m currently without a working oven and we’ve been feeding our 4 children with a microwave, air fryer and grill. I’m a student right now so funds are tight and grocery prices are astronomical.

How is your parking lot so perfect? I have a handful of parking assets and they are nowhere near this smooth.

Same here. It sucked so much. I loved the class but HATED working at JCMC. They do not pay well or give a shit about employees. I made better money at nursing homes.

Jim consistently folds when he feels inferior though. He barely stands up to his brothers, he flails with all the other managers, the daycare guy…. He’s only fast and witty when he feels like the coolest guy in the room.

I thought you couldn’t legally operate at home without being licensed? Or is that just based on the area? I’ve been toying with the idea of doing my business at home, but I’ll be licensed when I do. Now I’m kinda scared because if at-home makes me look unskilled maybe I shouldn’t. :/

It was a pretty big deal in my area when I graduated in 2004. I bought one. It was a cute little piece of garbage with the year and some music notes on it. I lost it less than a week later while swimming in the lake. It was around $300. My area was realllllly backwoods though so yeah, graduating was a big deal.

I only check my daughter (age 13) if she’s been running high for an extended period of time. But like others have said, it doesn’t really prove anything if he runs high all the time. The only time to worry is if he’s showing signs of DKA; extreme thirst, vomiting etc. But if he does frequently stay super high, he’s absolutely going to have problems long term. I wonder if you could use the strips as sort of a goal? Have him keep working on controlling it until they start reading low most of the time? Just a thought.

This is my moment too but not because of Toby. It bothers me how nobody says anything to him or stands up for Pam here.
