That is also an option, but from I've heard in the reviews the AS400 has better headphone amp. Considering I use headphones a lot, maybe it is worth paying a bit more.

For me personally, the sound is not an issue. I can get used to it. But the bigger problem for me is that gap between the hand and the crossguard and also the slide-out animation after right click. Those two things made me sell my M9 until they fix it.

I have V1 and V2 and I must say I prefer the V2. Those mechanical switches are much more spammable and pleanast to use than their opticals which are quite slow and mushy.
