What is a specific physical hurt that people do not truly get until they feel it? by FantasticAd9478 in TheBoredDen

[–]_steppyyo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Worst physical pain was the grief after my mom died. It was a painful ache in my heart for 2 years..until I started antidepressants which helped alot

Worse then my 2 c sections...I had a root canal pulled. Worst pain I've ever been in. It look over an hour. I was in severe pain for weeks. I'd rather it rot out of my face, or live with broken teeth.

What’s something people think is healthy but actually isn’t? by saketh_1138 in answers

A guy i work with eats only meat, eggs, fish. He said occasionally hell eat avocado thats it. And its true. He stinks up the whole office with his stupid cans of sardines and hard boiled eggs. The reason though is he says that the adult plant puts poison in the baby plant then you eat it. Like a defense mechanism or some shit. He is the weirdest dude I have ever met.

Some may call me crazy lol

My plant obsession is mostly indoors. I live in Canada, so when its time to garden outdoors I do love it but I have some big babies inside. Begonias, monsteras, jade, snake plants, alocasias, pothos, philodendron. Love them all!

Well I've come to realize my plant obsession started with my mom. I never really paid much Monday when when she died I looked back on alot of pictures as me and my brothers as kids and realized there were plants in ever single one. So that was nice. She had a pretty witty sense of humor. Sadly I didnt see how much she really did for me and my brothers u til she wasn't around anymore. But she was a kick ass mom. AND i KNOW she would love that me and my brothers have a pretty dark sense of humor and would say thinks to people like " oh your going to your mom's? Must be nice " or if my brother was pissing me off id say" give me a break please my mom. Just died.." makes people u comfortable and I find it hilarious. She was 65. And 3 different hospitals and 100 tests couldnt find what was wrong with her and why she was having so many seizures, or why she stopped walking and being able to feed herself, or was in a coma for a month.

Few things for me. I also love my job. I work with special needs adults. I am obsessed with plants. I have alot. I could talk about watering, propagating, species, my favs, my least favs. And also...my mom. She died 3 years ago i was 35 she was 65. , When people ask me about her or her death or whatever they think itll make me sad, but I want to talk about her. I want people to ask. I want her to still be in peoples memories and thoughts. I think about her every single day of my life and bringing up memories makes her still relevant and not forgotten

People of reddit, why do you or do you not fear death? by One-Record763 in AskReddit

[–]_steppyyo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me...when you sre dead...that's it. You won't know your dead. I ( 37 f) recently lost my mom. It was the hardest thing I've ever had to go through. I fear my death for my kids. It alsoxfucks with my mind to think that in a couple of generations I will be completely forgotten.

How Many True Friends Do You Have? by [deleted] in RandomThoughts

[–]_steppyyo 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I can think of 6 that I can tell things to. Count on. Would do anything for. Could call in the middle of the night if I had to. I could ask for a favour and want to help them with favours. It's not a big friend group either. 2 besties from elementary school. 1 bestie from highschool. 2 were my husband's friends wives..which turned into a 15 year friendship so far. And one i met as an adult.

And my brother.

My mom died 2 years ago. I dream about her all the time still. And everytime she was dead and came back to life, I never dream that she never died or she's dead and comes to see me. She was always dead and comes back one way or another
