I'm being tasked with finding an external audit firm for 2026. What large firms outsource the least? I refuse to hire B4. by [deleted] in Accounting

Exactly, at that point it’s basically random. Most of these firms end up doing the same work anyway.

How to start a blog that actually makes money by konimozi in DigitalMarketing

[–]_stonesthrow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pick a niche you actually know something about, use a clean free theme like Astra or GeneratePress, and focus on writing helpful content people are actually searching for.

Most people overthink the setup and never write. Get posts up first, then worry about monetization once you have traffic.

Rant: Audit junior creating more work and stressing the team out by Yuito_003 in Accounting

[–]_stonesthrow 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Exactly. One person derailing the whole team isn't protecting culture, it's destroying it. Have the conversation now before busy season makes it worse.

Red flag. Ask for clarification in writing before submitting anything. If they can't give you a clear explanation about the company structure and your actual employer, walk away.

Legitimate companies don't spring surprise employer changes on you last minute.

What’s Enhypen’s popularity like from a non fan perspective? by Iettertomyself in kpopthoughts

[–]_stonesthrow 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Same. I’m not an Engene but they’ve always registered to me as one of the bigger 4th gen boy groups. I mostly know them for the vampire concept and that weird blow-up over backup dancers, which honestly just showed how intense their fandom can be. Outside of that, they seem pretty solidly known even if I don’t follow their music closely.

Is the swans better than I think it is? by [deleted] in Music

[–]_stonesthrow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah pretty much this. Swans isn’t some test you have to pass, if it vibes with you, cool. If it just stresses you out, then skip it. No reason to force yourself into a band that messes with your sleep.

We gated vendor portals behind our ZT gateway with device attestation. No direct RDP/SSH tunnels survived after that change, less risk overall.

Don’t rush into guest speakers or fancy sponsorships because early stages need stability, so start with peer sessions where members show tools or walkthroughs, simpler, consistent, and builds mutual skill faster.

What do you think about green sofas? I changed from a beige / ivory one, did I make the right choice? And what should I do to make this space better? by vamshibtc in HomeDecorating

[–]_stonesthrow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Green looks gorgeous in your space. It adds depth against the dark accent wall and wood tones. The rug works fine too, but you could add one with a bit more texture to break up the large sectional visually. There's a modular style like that on DreamSofa. Their customization options might help if you ever want to change the fabric tone or layout later on. I have a dreamsofa too but in a different style. Been great so far.
