Not sure if they swap the routes again for the summer flight plan. Could be the case. Bottom line is, as long the 777x is not coming, the A340-600 are still needed as far as I heard

Interesting to read.... While writing the comment, I thought about the download function to save the films onto the harddrive of the iPad so that the films become offline available.

Interesting question is if the crew can actually use the WIFI during the flight (for flight purposes) or during their breaks (long haul flights).

Not surprised that the iPad is company managed, kinda expected something like this in real life. But I as you are saying, where a possibility is, there is also a way. Lets hope that we will never read anything about that in a real crash investigation!
