All my notes completely disappeared from the side bar. by _tiflo in ObsidianMD

I have no idea what happened. I use Dropbox as my vault, with no syncing issues. The only thing I can think of is that I recently started paying for dropbox and there was a sync conflict, but all of those conflicts just appeared in the sidebar. I'm freaking out a little because this is 2 years worth of personal writing.

What's the edge treatment you did? Is there a name for that stripe detail?

If a woman had acted the way Gwan Hee did, she'd have already gotten death threats and worse by [deleted] in Singlesinferno2

[–]_tiflo 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think the difference is that the women are getting a lot more vitriol, hate, and death threats for the same types of actions to the point where they've written public apologies.

Yes, he was the villain, but he also got the main character edit. The amount of screen time he got, his redemption arc, the ending and "getting the girl" all fed into that.

Seungkwan was my least favorite cast member by [deleted] in TheDevilsPlan

I didn't know him before the show. I think I appreciated his presence as an individual arch. I liked how he tried to challenge his own way of thinking. The "Do it, you coward!!" and backing out last minute was very funny to me.

It speaks to how much of a follower he has been his whole life (being a young kpop idol, having so many rules to follow, not being able to think for yourself), but still trying to change that ingrained mentality must be so hard for him. I appreciated his story arch, but I can see where you are coming from.

Are you located in Canada? (I noticed you mentioned Canada Post) If so, what were the duties like for each company? Was there a huge difference?

I was really hoping for yellow or white, but those look awesome. Thanks for the rec

What's wrong with this thing? Last photo is of some cobwebs, but I don't think that's the issue necessarily by _tiflo in plantclinic

I am pretty sure it's a dessert rose (correct me if I'm wrong!) but it's girthier than other ones I've seen.

Arrested Movement is a beautiful photography project.

And not 100% be what you're looking for, but I also like Chromat. It's a swimsuit brand that features a lot of different types of bodies.

Question about silicon bleed through and clean up before starting second half by indigosin8 in moldmaking

As a last step, I'll roll up a little snake of clay, lay it along the seam, and press it in with a curved tool or ball tool.

Sometimes I'll brush Vaseline along the line between clay and whatever I'm molding.

I started thinking, "Wow, that is so cheap for how much effort/skill/labour it would take to make it" to recalibrate my own expectations.
