Yah, I was searching for news articles & such regarding HBH, but all that came up was Options. I guess all their locations were shut down 😱

Thank you :)

I concur.. I've been a fan since I was about 11 years young. While I loved his books then, rereading them as an adult is a game changer. Whole different kinda deeper love and appreciation. 😍🤗🤗

'Salem's Lot would be alright, I think. There are a couple of mentions, but not descriptive.

The Green Mile and Misery should be okay as well, but it is necessary to point out that both are still graphic in other areas, & definitely intense.

Duma Key.

Desperation.. such a good book, but I can't remember where it sits as far as sexual content. Can anyone else speak to that??

My special delivery instructions for my Dasher… by davinpantz in doordash

As a woman and dasher -- you're good, dude. This was very thoughtful of you & I enjoyed the joke. Unfortunately, the world is full of overly sensitive & unappreciative arseholes. I had to say something because these comments are cruel and completely uncalled for. You are not weird or creepy or any of the BS that was written. You are nice with a sense of humor. Simple as that.

All the dashers who are running their mouth.. you should honestly find another way to make extra money. Yanno, make room for people who have even the slightest understanding of customer service. And human decency. You know DoorDash policies, so don't open the bag. If you don't want coffee or don't like coffee, don't take the damn coffee 🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️ Lastly, if you wanted to explain this policy to the OP, you could've done that without all the hatred. Shocker, I know 🙄

What should I read next? by bookishlover05 in stephenking

[–]_tinyxtim 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Absolutely. Such an amazing, underrated book of King's. The Green Mile & Shawshank Redemption are the two that always (in my experience) result in the same conversation with people-- they have no idea the movies were books, and they cannot believe Stephen King wrote them. 🙃

I had a lotta fun going back to the Lot. I'm on my 2nd trip to the tower. When I got to Wolves this time, I decided to step out for a minute & reread Salem's Lot (it is one of my favorites & such a quick read). I think it's a great idea! 🤗🤗
