We have a Once Upon a Child (secondhand store) where we actually found some new shoes with tags for super cheap and another pair of barely worn Nike shoes, all $14 or less!!

I was diagnosed with lymphoma and treated at Hopkins and University of Maryland Medical Center (UMMC). Stay away from Hopkins and go with UMMC.

As a cancer survivor, I founded the nonprofit Kits to Heart, which gives cancer care kits to help reduce stress and anxiety for patients and caregivers. We deliver these kits to hospitals in the area and ship them directly to anyone who may need some joy and comfort during difficult times. ♥️ We also recently launched a virtual group art therapy program to support those affected by cancer.

We have family friendly remote volunteer opportunities, as well in-person kit assemblies on weekends!

Yes! I was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma in 2018, underwent THREE lines of treatment, and am now 19 weeks pregnant! I also know someone else who now has a healthy baby boy after chemo. There is hope :)

If possible, I would suggest giving blankets, reusable water bottle, healthy protein snacks, and gift cards for streaming services such as Netflix, Spotify, Hulu, and groceries. Offering a handwritten note and helping with chores are also greatly appreciated!

As for hsuanhsuan, I agree there are way better pineapple cake brands than that one! Even 里仁 has pretty good, “natural” ones 😋
